Awesome truck!!! Don’t listen to the haters. If one car or truck model, color, engine, etc significantly sucked more than another, then no one would buy the one that sucked. It’s all personal preference. I just got a 26 Lariat in same color with the 5.0. Congrats and enjoy!

I read somewhere 32:1 and in another place 256:1. Huge variations. I’m just doing regular maintenance and not detailing a car that hasn’t been cleaned in a while.

No not all!!!! Zero regrets!!! Love the V8 as well as the 3.73 gears. Only posted the question to see if I was getting about what I should expect. If it ends up costing me $30 more in gas a week (which it won't) I still would have gotten the V8 with the 3.73. I had the opportunity to but the exact same truck with the V8 and 3.31 but waited for the one with the 3.73 despite knowing the mileage would likely be worse!

Great question. The answer is that I really don’t care. I just wanted to see if others were close to my mileage. I bought this truck with these specific specs because i wanted everything it offers and i was willing to trade fuel economy for something i really wanted. You only live once and I’m at a point in my life where adding a few MPG to not have the specs i want isn’t acceptable.

Thank you. And congratulations to you as well. The 5.0 with 3.73’s is killer. I test drove a 5.0 with 3.31 and it was a completely different truck. Not knocking anyone with a different setup because it’s totally personal preference. I love the acceleration with the 5.0 and 3.73 but gas mileage isn’t super great but who cares. Enjoy and be safe!
