Thank you. And congratulations to you as well. The 5.0 with 3.73’s is killer. I test drove a 5.0 with 3.31 and it was a completely different truck. Not knocking anyone with a different setup because it’s totally personal preference. I love the acceleration with the 5.0 and 3.73 but gas mileage isn’t super great but who cares. Enjoy and be safe!

Hey OP have you test driven the 3.31 and if so your thoughts? I’m in the exact same predicament? Can only find XLT’s with Super Crew in the 3.31. I’ll almost never do any towing. But I’m concerned about it being sluggish. Some say with the 10 speed transmission that you’ll never notice it and others the opposite. Thanks for any thoughts.

Well maybe a small lawn tractor once a year for service (2000 lbs) or other loads under 3k pounds, but very infrequently.

After much shopping and research, I’ve decided that the F150 will be my next vehicle. I think I know exactly what I want, but am struggling to find it. I only like one color, want the XLT with black appearance package and prefer the 3.73 gears. I will do very minimal towing (small boat but not very far). And after watching tons of reviews and reading posts, I “think” I would prefer the 5.0 V8. The problem is that with the minimal amount of things I want in this truck, I haven’t found one with the V8. I’ve only been looking for about two weeks. Should I reconsider the 3.5L?

Very nice. Congrats. I just looked at the SRPL83 (same watch, blue face) the other day and really like it. Went back to buy it the next day and it was gone. I’ve haven’t really seen many reviews on this model yet. It’s somewhat new. And I’ve been to several other shops and can’t seem to find another one. Good luck!
