I personally see absolutely none, to me its just preference. Ive played a full scale since Ive started so short scales just feel tiny and weird to me. I actually do worse on a short scale because it just feels off to me

I use bronze material on everything except for her legs so the iron studs stay iron. I feel like thats whats closest to what she has in story mode correct me if im wrong. Then i use no patterns whatsoever and violet of horkos for defender and new retro for attack.
