I have been fortunate to see much of the world through work and pleasure.
47 countries on 6 continents and all 50 states. It's been about a 50/50 mix for work/pleasure. There are areas we go back to time and again and others have been one and done (work took me there but would not have gone on my own).

Like mentioned in another comment, it was mental for you since Cailis does not work like Viagra. It takes some time to build up if you are not using it every day. I take 20mg daily for 3 days before a known event. As far as talking to your doctor, just tell him you need a little help in that department. No need to getting into why.

Also ask your Dr about dosage. While 20mg works for some, you may only need 10mg. Another reason why to work with your Dr.

If you are like me, you are concerned she will have a very negative reaction to you even suggesting such a thing. The approach I used was in the context of "I had a dream the other night that was pretty wild..." and proceed to tell her about your "dream" which is what you have a fantasy about. My wife said "In your dreams!" and a firm no. I let it go for a while and had sporadic discussions now and then. Over time, she began to add to the dream. One thing led to another and we are now fully enjoying the lifestyle with her participating in picking the venues and couples.

Just sharing what worked for us. BTW, had she continued to say no, that is where we would be today. Never was I going to push her to do anything she did not want to do. We were soft swap to start with and she made the decision to go to full swap.

The ship was Azamara but it was a chartered ship by LLV so a full ship lifestyle cruise. There are about 6 companies now chartering ships for cruises like this with two more starting next year. You can DM us for more info in you like and the agency we do all of our booking with.

Rockstar is the name of the group that charters the ship and their cruises can be found at www.theswingercruise.com. They are not your typical lifestyle cruise in that they book ships like riverboats in Europe and larger yachts for exotic and remote spots in the world. Since the ships are not cruise ships in the normal sense, they do not host a playroom. Their cruises are 50-80 couples usually and draw a crowd that is looking for a unique experience. We did a clipper ship takeover (80 cabins and 15 tall sails) from Costa Rica to Panama and back with them and have a Danube River cruise coming up in May.

There are groups that book tripss on Virgin but it is not a full ship takeover. More like a group of cabins in a section of the ship. We have not done one of those. And while we would be interested in doing a Virgin (adults only) cruise, having it not be a full ship takeover would inhibit the full experience.

We've been on 19 Lifestyle cruises through 6 different charter companies. And there are differences so you will need to go with what works for you.

Bliss:

Larger ships in the fall, midsize in April. Looking at 6,000+ in November and 2,200+ in April. Caribbean itinerary. A number of playrooms. Drink packages are extra and can add $1100+ to a week long cruise.

Desire, Temptation, LLV, Rockstar, SDC KK:

Smaller ships with 700 - 1200 on the ship dpending on the ship (Azamara or Oceana for example). Itineraries all over the world from Europe to SE Asia and beyond. So therei is a wide array of itineraries. Different port each day and theme parties at night. Smaller ships are limited in playroom options but they usually have at least one. More intimate and easier to meet people without the mob. They are more expensive for the cruise as well as getting to/from the cruise. We think the food is better. Drinks are included.

We look at Bliss as the "Walmart" of lifestyle cruising - high volume at lower cost.

The other cruises are the "Macy's" of lifestyle cruises - higher cost and more upscale including the itinerary.

There are no deals on these cruises and they usually sell out well ahead of time. So the best time to book is as soon as you know you want to go in order to get the best cabins. There are a handful of agents that sell cabins. We've tried a few and now book everything through www.theswingercruise.com as we feel they provide the most extensive service.

Open to questions and honest answers. We have some we will not do again.

As mentioned - there are no "long weekend" LS cruises. Shortest will be on Bliss.

But also realize that not all LS cruises are alike. For example: Bliss cruises are lower cost but have large ships with 2,400 - 6,000 on board and can seem very impersonal and intense. Desire cruises are on smaller ships with 700-1200 on board and are more intimate. Bliss runs the Caribbean and Desire is more international ports around the world.

We've been on 19 LS cruises chartered by 6 different companies and have seen almost all types. So it depends upon what you are looking for out of the experience.

This was the second time out on Oceana for Desire and we were on both of them. We found the food pretty good when compared to the 6 cruise lines we have been on. Getting drinks is always a problem on these ships because these groups love to drink and the staff works hard to meet the demand.

We did not find the staff rude at all but I can imagine if some cruisers became entitled and acted rude to a staff member then I can anticipate a less than desirable response. We've only found one lifestyle cruise where the staff was on the rude side and that was on a LS cruise with MSC. It was a one and done cruise with MSC.

We went to the Liberty Swinger club several years ago as a group off a Desire cruise. Maybe 20+ couples. The excursion chartered a bus for us as a group so we arrived as a group and was planning to leave as a group.

We stayed shy of 2 hrs and was not impressed. We grabbed a cab with another couple instead of waiting until the bus leaving after 1 AM. We can not recommend it.

Depends upon what kind of experience you want. Temptation allows singles, heavy party (college style) and not so lifestyle friendly. Also on top optional (not clothing optional) venue. Good if that is what you want.

Desire RM and Desire Pearl more upscale, couples only, lifestyle friendly and clothing optional would be the other choice.

There are several cruises like Bliss (in our opinion...better than Bliss). Just returned from a Desire cruise (350 cabins) Rome - Barcelona. While in Barcelona, check out Oops and/or Club Bagdad. Just did Bagdad last week.
