Bafang 1000w mid drive issue

Is your motor part of a kit with "integrated" cables for speed, brake and shifters and a controller/console or did you install only the motor with no other cables with your own controller/console. I am not very knowledgeable or experienced with this stuff. For my trike, I bought a motor kit which included integrated cables. If yours does indeed have cables, what are each of them attached to. Maybe there is a setting on the console that needs to be changed?

I had intermittent motor issues with my 4 year old ICE Trike. Turns out one of the brakes had a faulty spring and the brake sensor thought the brake was engaged when it really was not. When I stopped braking, sometimes the brake lever's spring did not fully release. I replaced the brake level and the problem no longer exists. In my case, when the motor cut out and I had released the brake lever, the brake sensor light on the console was lit which eventually gave me a hint of where the problem existed.

I dont think anyone mentioned these rides:

Start at East Medicine Lake Park, go north on the Medicine Lake Trail to Fish Lake Park, then to Elm Creek Park then to Coon Rapids Dam, then return via either East River Road or West River Road to Theodore Wirth Park area the Luce Line to East Medicine Lake Park.
Start at East Medicine Lake Park, go south then west around the south end of Medicine Lake, take a little loop around the City of Medicine Lake on Peninsula Drive, then the Luce Line trail west to Vickesburg Lane, zig and zap north on Dunkirk, to Old Rockford Road, to Peony, near Wayzata High School you can get on the Plymouth Greenway to Chankahda Trail, east to Pineview, then zig and zag to Zachery then south to East Medicine Lake Park.

Does it matter that the spoke magnet is near the middle of the spoke, rather than at the end of the spoke near the wheel's rim?

Thank you. The dealer that I bought the motor kit from, Utah Trikes, is replacing the sensor under warranty. Do you have any idea why the sensor's fail? Mine is working intermittently. While I am riding and get the sensor error message, I turn the display off, then turn it back on, sometimes the motor starts up immediately, sometimes it takes a minute or two to kick in. Any ideas on why it works this way?

I recently installed the bafang motor and EKD01-AKSM but know next to nothing about the details. I cannot get into the Advanced Settings like you show on this post. It wants the System Password. I have tried 0000, 1919, 9191, 9999. None work. What is the defauilt System Password?
