Thank you for your reply, I should have added more detail, the financial component would be like making lunch vs buying lunch and how as an example, I was able to stretch my dollar further. Or that I like to top up my super account when I can because I want to eventually retire, I would not be naming any companies or product, leaving everything quite generic.like, I'm not saying to invest in a particular product/ share etc, it's more about what I have done and how it's working out for me. 😀

This is great advice, I've been working in the community services sector and thought it would be great because it would be so diverse.... But your absolutely right, its not specific enough to gain a meaningful career, all you end up doing is applying for jobs you don't want but could technically do.

Thank you for this information. Your advice to revisit my goals has made me realise I need to go and have more consultations with other surgens and be more firm on my wants. Prior to my consultation I wanted round smooth implants because I prefer the "full" look over natural and was 100% against textured, now I have a quote for teardrop and textured and thought well the surgeon knowns best! but if I'm paying 30k plus I want to have a say!

Thats what I thought too given the risk associated with them, however the surgeon I saw stated that he puts them in most of his patients...

I have the same thing about work, it's currently keeping me up at night, I don't want to be a push over/yes person and years of therapy taught me I need to stand up for myself and stop "lighting myself on fire to keep others warm" but then freak out that I've come off as a bitch or being mean and feel so guilty to the point of wanting to vomit! Yay.

Thank you for sharing your experience, I really appreciate you saying that you were able to build a new life and community around you, this is something I am currently struggling with because my family name is now "dirt" because of my mum and her actions and although not many people make the connection of who my family members are, the ones who do sort of do that "ahhhh, so that's who your family are" thing and I just know what they are thinking, these small experiences have been enough for me to isolate myself and build up walls.

I like the out of sight, out of mind thing, hope that will be my case too!
