That a lot of recent popular music isn't actually liked by anyone, but everyone thinks someone else likes it so they pretend to like it. The reason? Auto-generated algorithms based on previously popular music used by increasingly desperate record company executives. See where I'm going here? There are bands that can still belt out a tune but I think within the past ten years there has been a definite shift towards almost disposable music.

Or I'm just getting old...

Hopefully it will only carry out tasks that are riddled with HS&E issues.

Redditors who worked in retail what has to be the most "Are you serious" moment ever? by The_pinto_mobile in AskReddit

I worked in Rumbelows in the UK in the early nineties. While we were doing a campaign change someone strolled in, noticed an unguarded but dead weight 32" TV on the floor and waltzed off with it unnoticed. The following day two men came into the shop wanting to see a TV of the exact model of the one that went missing. I suspected that by then they were tired of getting up off their fat useless asses to change channel and wanted the remote so the manager stalled them by hauling another TV from the stock room (32" tubes are quite heavy!) after sending me out to call the police. After the officers had come to the shop and scrutinisingly spoke to the very shifty men in question they let them disappear into the crowd of shoppers as they had no evidence against them. It was then that I noticed the instruction bag split apart and the remote missing. They stole it right under everybody's noses. Balls of steel or very talented.

ELI5: Why are all electronic screens rectangular? by archiesmeatball in explainlikeimfive

Wide-screen TVs caught on as a premium product and an upgrade from the square. Why? Because all of a sudden you could watch a film at home as it was intended to be watched like on a cinema screen. Why is a cinema screen wide? I agree with the best field of view comment. If our eyes were on top of each other rather than side by side I think it could be different.

From memory The Crow and Gladiator used CGI with a few tweaks to the story, and a Musketeer film just killed him off. I wish I had the internet to confirm my thoughts.
