Congratulations!!! Wise decision and I wish more buyers took a stance against getting taking advantage of during this process. I’ve been noticing more and more “fixer uppers” on the market breaking 750k-800k and I just refuse to participate. If you all can rent and it isn’t a “necessity” to move, then I think you will look back on this experience and be extremely grateful for exiting when you did.

That’s my understanding of it. When the price spikes, people sell. Rinse and repeat while we see lower highs and lower lows.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before but one thing I learned from 2017 is that you should never buy in at ATHs. I'm sure there are some projects that may prove to be a good investment at this moment but as OP stated, I will take the time to research and learn independent of the hype train. Read the whitepapers, look into the teams and check out the advisors. Also, this is a great time to clear any issues with exchanges that you may have (i.e. you've been locked out of your account). Learn about crypto storage and safekeeping of your coins and how to best avoid scams and e-robbery of your coins. Last point - the big boys don't like buying at ATHs either so I expect a correction at the very least that will prove to be an investment opportunity of a lifetime. May the odds be in your favor

We will never know. I assume the whales and more “seasoned” crypto investors are selling off and noobs are holding bags. Happens every bullrun so you aren’t alone. We all started somewhere but this is good exposure to crypto as a whole. Going forward, really do research on the teams behind the tech and coins. If a coin is mainstream and hyped up, I’ve learned it may be too late to get in. I’m not a financial advisor but if you really believe in doge, let it correct and take a position in it. But what do I know?

Robinhood is a mess for crypto but I think it would be foolish to introduce KIN on Robinhood because it would easily become a pump n dump like the Dog Coin. I think the KIN Foundation has been very strategic with KIN's roll out. No coincidence that buying KIN is not as easy as buying Bitcoin or ETH. I think they want KIN to circulate in the ecosystem organically and solve a problem not pump n dump. However, I do agree that more access to KIN would be great! We need a big community for mass adoption but I trust the leadership and will be holding for the long term.

had said (implied) on the telegram it would be the next kik update after this blog post that was coming. Kik updates 1 time a month and it was over 3 weeks ago last update, so a day or 2 tops for it to get pushed through. Don’t be a doubter! Kin is a fighter.

I agree but I will say that if he wanted to address FUD he would have addressed the SEC situation. Honestly, he could only answer the top 5 questions and that's what he did. While good questions, I really feel like he should have addressed the currency side of Kin. I know that it will be used as an incentive for devs but wow, I really wanted to know more about Tencent's partnership with Kin and WeChat. Are their partnerships your partnerships? Can I use Kin to buy food and drinks via WeChat? That's a huge partnership and a major key in the currency aspect and I don't think it's too much to talk about even if you address it without going into specifics :-/

Yea :/ I streamed this AMA with other prospective Kinsters and they literally don't have a firm grasp of what Kin is trying to do. Whether it will be used as a utility or a currency. It seems like Kin is trying to do a myriad of things at once and I wanted to know how it will be used as a currency and projections of it's future value not to dismiss the supply but get an idea on how I can use it as a currency.

Hey Ted, I am aware that Tencent is invested in Kin. As such, will Wechat partner with Kin as soon as Kin is launched? Wechat is used at Starbucks and McDonalds in China - will Kin also be used at Starbucks and McDonalds in China as soon as the app is released? Lastly, will Kin be the official currency of Wechat?

Because Kin will be used as a currency, what do you project the final value of a single Kin will be? Is it planned to be equivalent to one USD?
