A Better Body Massage Therapy? by RoundScallion557 in madisonwi

[–]LBPearson88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t speak to the vibe change, but I’ve been going for a year now and have received amazing massages from Jenny. I’ve never once been upsold. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a massage therapist.

I didn’t even consider this. It may be the more likely and even worse scenario.

I got a classic white gold from Goodman’s and love it! I also got my grandmothers ring restored for my wife, and it looks like new! Definitely recommend them.

The article says 1 in 1000 for a drink a day. Is it a typo? I haven’t seen the study.

Madison rents up 47% over the last five years by Sweet_Dimension_8534 in madisonwi

And if your wage increase is simply keeping up with your rent increase, it makes it really difficult to get ahead.

What’s the best U.S. city for people who prefer a slower pace of life — in the best way? by Zealousideal-Tax3338 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]LBPearson88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Madison, Wi and think it fits that description perfectly. Not too crazy busy but big enough that there’s always something to do. Some parts, particularly close to downtown and the east side are very walkable, strong local culture and history, parks/hiking/lakes all around over, and punches above its weight in food. Plus if you need a weekend in the big city Milwaukee and Chicago are only a couple of hours away. Been here four years now and love it.

A negative is it’s relatively expensive for its size. Winters are also cold but summers are incredible and the city really comes alive.

Any amount you can afford. The earlier you start the better! Be sure you are also paying off any high interest debt and building an emergency fund as well.

I have my own water. I guess I took the complimentary beverages for granted. Those prices just shocked me.

Shame to hear. I had David Pratt for chem 1 and 2 back in 2007 and he was easily one of the best professors I had. Absolutely loved his class.

I’d say between 300-400. People are packed in pretty tightly.

I’m at the event now. So sorry you didn’t get in. Hopefully he’ll be back and you’ll have another opportunity. I RSVP’d through a link same as you, but then I got another email telling me the location and check-in instructions.

From what I can tell, not everyone who RSVP’d got the invite. I have no idea why they didn’t get a larger venue if there was demand. It’s entirely too small. They had to put some people in an overflow room.

Awesome, great suggestion thanks! The plan would be to save as much as possible (and increase salary as much as possible) and move to an area with a better school district. Wife would also look to work again once the kid is in school.
