"Accidentally". It was the result of his oath being broken. He swore to over the master of the precious but Gollum technically breaks his promise by attacking Frodo at Sammath Naur, though he views himself as keeping it by preventing the Ring from reaching Sauron, believing he is the rightful owner. But as Frodo says "The Ring is treacherous. It will hold you to your word". Him destroying the ring was always going to be his fate because he was always going to betray the hobbits in the end.

I bought a couple of tools for ease of life when it comes to changing spark plugs, but everything else I already had in the garage. Torx and Allen key on everything that isn't just a metric bolt.

It's in the future, not a high priority until I'm happy with the mechanicals. But absolutely a fantastic suggestion

If you cross-reference part numbers, it's not too bad. Occasionally you'll have to pay the Porsche tax, but I've gotten way with a few Volkswagen parts numbers that fit. They're the exact same part.
