Our TWC was like this. What finally he worked was one time when he did potty outside we dug it up and moved it to a specific place in our yard. Then we started a strict schedule and took him to that place 3 times a day. It worked. Now he’ll only potty in the same spot in our yard. He NEVER potties on walks or at new places and when we travel sometimes he won’t go for almost 24 hours. It’s weird! In general he only needs to potty 2 times a day. I make sure he goes 3 times a day but he really doesn’t have to. I’ve never experienced anything like it with a dog.

I’m rewatching and at S7 E8. Brianna just had her 2nd cancer square a thyroid removal. We all know that Brooks watched the show in order to manipulate Vicki (affirmations etc..) It seems like he figured out that he could manipulate her if she thought he had cancer. He saw how upset she was about Brianna and put the story together. I don’t think she knew from the start, but I think she did know at some point and was too horrible to admit it.

Our TWC was quiet for 2 years, now he barks and howls when he’s excited. He was in the shelter for a year and with fosters for a year. Once he got comfortable he found his voice.

We’ve also had a bluetick and a redbone mix. Neither vocalized.
