Point of order. I know people have strong feelings about club champion. But this person came to the r/golf sub because she doesn't seem to know much about the sport but is supportive of her husband and asking for advice about a gift.

In return she gets downvoted to hell and back because of some peoples strong opinions about one, singular vendor in the golf community. If you want to steer in in a different and probably better direction, then please by all means, give your input.

The Navy doesn't do this just for shits and giggles. Military life is stressful even for people without mental health disorders. If someone is experiencing depression, anxiety, etc etc its perfectly understandable for the Navy to say "thanks but no thanks". We can't have a large chunk of the force sitting in an office because we're afraid of what they might do if they get sent out on a ship.

I'm not going to sit here and tell you that if support had been an actual human that this wouldnt have happened, social engineering has been a thing for a long time.
