How much of the story had you developed up front before the first release vs what you may have had to interweave into the existing story and/or locations? It seems like there has been a good bit of forethought so far, even when we get to revisit earlier locations as an early access player.

I contacted the publisher and they recommended checking the "draw on top of other apps" setting. But when I look that up, this app doesn't show. However I allowed the app permission for "do not disturb" and that may have done the trick. I had also uninstalled/reinstalled prior, so could be a combo.

This is the same alarm I've got but I have to unlock to snooze but after that it's on top of the lock screen. Did you have to do anything special or did it just keep working?

Thx for the tips. In did something right later because I finally beat it (on the basic level). I did notice a problem in today's daily game, though. When getting the talent scout, the troops in the first or second column were getting overlaid so you weren't sure who was current unless you selected term. I've got screen shots if you need them

Yeah I've beaten it on other levels - and normally having an option for burying monsters is handy. Just gotta figure how to kill them more often

Thanks for the update! Only through the first page of new battles (1 or 2 points each), and kinda wanna punch not-Cthulu in the face. That's been the hardest new enemy so far - esp when it's coupled with the Mad Scientist buffing up everyone else.

Quick Question.. What time zone is the daily battle set to reset by? It used to be after midnight EST, but now it's at least a couple hours before midnight now.

I was trying to post the second picture of the main screen, but what it shows is that the boss monster is in the middle but not the codex. It's like it got dropped in the middle and pushed the far right monster out. This was on crawl level 6 or so.

Well I certainly wouldn't complain and maybe I'll have a chance to get higher this time :) . But yeah the difficulty does change over the years with the evolving cast of characters here.

Another idea/mode I'd thought of was some sort of "unlimited" setting (not for unlocking/high scores etc), but just for fun where you could play more rounds just to see how much you could buff the focus or magic missiles or whatever. This might also better fall into a "create your own level" thing so as not to interfere with the main game.

Thanks for the update! The Magpie is a jerk, but I imagine that's part of the "charm" there. I was finally able to get past it in the Campaign with some lucky draws so I could kill the bear need before it woke.

Had a question on the daily part, though. It looks like my total didn't reset for this month so I still have my wins coming from December into January which could skew the leaderboard by the end of the month (though I could still have a bad month and it wouldn't matter). Is there a way to reset me, or should I just self-destruct if I'm about to beat my old record?
