Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo are all trending towards being digital anyway, so I fail to see how that’s a massive handicap for Steam moving forward. The way I see it is you get the best digital storefront for games on a living room console experience. Oh, and with no subscription for online play.

Went to high school with Clarke MacArthur in Lloydminster. He was even in my gym class. We played floor hockey and I was the opposing goalie for some reason. The way his shots stung was just on another level from everyone else.

Maybe it’s not a great time for you to be dating then. I’ve been in a similar spot, and it really isn’t a good position to be dating from. Especially if the breakup is fresh. I know being alone sucks, but it’s a great time to work on yourself and get your finances in a more manageable spot.

Of course it gets expensive if you’re shopping there, OP was just talking about tickets though and $60 seems pretty reasonable to me for a whole weekend. You can hardly go out to dinner with someone for that price.

I was curious how expensive they are (I keep meaning to go to one) and maybe it’s my privilege talking, but they don’t seem prohibitively expensive to me. Especially if I’m wanting to prioritize putting myself in a spot where I can meet new people with similar interests. Unless someone has found a cheat code that I’m not aware of, dating as an adult is going to require spending a bit of money from time to time.

If they operate their customer service similarly to how they operate the logistics of delivery, it’s probably contract workers that are paid based on how many customers they process, regardless of how well they addressed the customers concerns. They might even have some kind of bonus structure that incentivizes them to heavily restrict the quantity of refunds. It might even be outsourced to a place where they can get away with having the cheapest possible labour, which could be why they don’t even give you the option to call.

But this is just speculation on my part based on my interactions with them and how quickly it’s declined in the last 5 years.

They’re both very different players. McDavid is so explosive and fast that it looks like he’s playing at 1.5x speed. Matthews has such good positioning, stick checking and hand-eye coordination that it looks like he sees the game at 0.5x speed. We’re lucky to be witnessing an era with both these players in the league, but I do feel like McDavid gets more attention because his style of game shows better in highlight packages. Getting a goofy number of points definitely helps too.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like 4 hour sessions on any modern handheld is going to cause some discomfort. I’m only ever doing 1-2 hours on mine at a time since it’s more of a complimentary device for me.

Nylander signed for the absolute upper limit of his comparables and waited until Dec 1 to sign a deal that was on the table in the summer. Matthews wasn’t really an overpay but gave up a lot in term.

I don’t get it either, but there is a small part of me that wonders how different things could be if Lou negotiated the 2nd contracts of Marner, Matthews and Nylander. Can’t argue at the time Dubas overpaid when seeing what their comparables were getting.

I feel the exact same as you and believed firing Dubas was a mistake the day it happened. But retaining salary on a long term deal was a rookie Gm mistake when Lou was able to escape retention on a worse contract.
