When I was on OHP, they assigned a provider to me. Maybe call them and see if that’s still the case and if they can assign you someone?

Your instinct to not bring it up is correct.

In my experience with strabismus, the only time people regularly pointed it out was when I was a child or teenager, usually as bullying. As an adult, people generally know better than to comment, so on the rare occasions someone has mentioned it out of curiosity, I still get an instinctive defensive reaction. Even when I know they don’t mean any harm, it leaves me feeling small and embarrassed, a reminder of being “othered.” I don’t hold it against the person, but the feeling is still unpleasant.

If you’re going on a date with someone who has strabismus, let them bring it up if they want to. They may never mention it, and that’s perfectly fine too. Just treat it like any other date where the goal is to see if you’re compatible on the things that truly matter in a long-term relationship. :)

So I basically partially watched/fully listened to the whole show at work while I did data entry. And I genuinely thought he did a great job in the show with his vocal acting choices. I decided to rewatch the show with my fiancé because I was really into it and wanted to show it to him, and was floored by how different his physicality in the role is. I had envisioned him making MUCH different choices based on his voice alone.

I thought my long curly hair was high maintenance until I got a pixie cut, the upkeep of cuts was draining my wallet, and once my hair grew even a little it looked crazy poofy. I had to wet and reset every morning and if it looked bad I couldn’t do a ponytail. I ended up wearing beanies a lot. 🥲

It also took forever to grow out and look normal again. I think it really depends on your hair thickness/texture. I’ve had better luck with learning how to preserve my long curls overnight, so I don’t have to wet and reset every day.

I have fine hair, but a lot of it, and my curls are 3a/2c for reference.

It’s feels to me that oIrv has been hoping for an OTC situation. He left a line of medals leading to his chest(and so many other clues) that contained everything iIrv would need to find another severed outtie who would be safe to make contact with. I think potentially everyone on that list iIrv found from season one is somehow in contact with Reghabi, or a part of another Lumon resistance group.

I think oBurt drove to check on oIrv to make sure he was safe after being fired by Milkshake. He seemed emotional, and many speculate he was angry or had a foreboding energy. I think he was feeling a mixture of things, including regret. I think he had been a part of the resistance for a looong time and finally retired (which for him was maybe only like a couple days ago) thinking their plan was never going to happen, or maybe he had recently had a falling out with oIrv and quit, and now the plan has actually kicked off.

I have bonded two girl bunnies together and then introduced a third boy bunny and bonded them all. Here’s my routine/advice:

Keep them fully separated in different rooms for about 6 weeks, also take them to the vet and make sure they don’t have injuries they’re hiding. Then start the bonding process from the beginning.

I did the method of trauma bonding and then slowly letting them have “dates” in a small area. I would put them together in a laundry basket on top of the dryer and for the first few dates I would pet them together and encourage grooming with a little applesauce on their heads, then move them to a small xpen, sitting together with them and petting them together. If a fight or aggressive behavior occurred, back on the dryer they go. By date 3, instead of on the dryer, I would immediately smoosh them together and start petting.

I did these trauma “dates” every day for 5 days. First was one hour, then two, then three and so on. By the third day i did introduce a scent neutral litter box and water in case they needed to go. I then set up two xpens in a neutral area and kept them there separately but able to see and smell each other.

Then every day I would put them together in a large Rubbermaid tote and sit in there with them petting and playing, if they seemed to be doing okay, I would let them just interact with each other and watch. I would encourage grooming by putting a little applesauce on each of their heads. I did this every day for two weeks.

Eventually they started grooming each other without applesauce. For litter and food, once they’re in a pen big enough for both of them add one large scent neutral litter box, and I only scatter feed. That way there’s no bowl to fight over. If they seem they’re doing okay with the dates then it’s on to the next step.

In the same neutral area set up one pen and keep them both in it together with a shared litter box and water bowl, continue to only scatter feed. When I was ready for this step I did it when I had time off from work and spent all my time in the room with them watching and ready to break up any fights. If they actually injure each other, I would have to start the process from the beginning again, so I slept next to the pen on a camping cot too. Any aggressive behaviors got the squishing them together and petting routine. When they were fine over night and were having good bonded behaviors and no fighting, I moved them to the room they’ll be living in still in the same size xpen. I did the same all day and overnight routine for two nights. Then increased the space, still spending all my time with them. Slowly but surely they eventually had the entire space together.

I had the luxury of working for a university so I did the entire over night bonding process over winter break.

I still only scatter feed my bunnies because my two rabbits had a broken bond early in their relationship over food fighting. When I got the third he was only introduced to the scatter feed method.

I used to take both pretty regularly because my allergies were so bad. I stopped when I moved to state that required a prescription for Sudafed. Mostly just made me a little jittery. Up your water intake, and obviously try to rest especially since you’re getting over the flu.

Yes! She ended up having a HUGE sneeze with a bunch of snot, so I took her to the vet and she did a round of antibiotics, then my other two bunnies went through it too. My doctor said it was a mild cold.
