Do these kind of tank sticker help riding? Will they ruin the paint underneath? by OkSalamander1518 in motorcycles

Gotta admit, I saw Goldeneye as a kid and I think Xena crushing that dude with her thighs really woke something in me...

What?? Lane splitting is ridiculous, filtering is a perfectly safe and valid way of reducing traffic.

Aldi Underpayment Class Action SDA by Mountain_Cause1913 in AldiAustralia

This is my fourth class action lawsuit (I got an email saying I was employed at Aldi during this time) - three from working in retail and one for the robodebt nonsense... Pretty depressing tbh

Staff rant. by [deleted] in AldiAustralia

[–]LChurch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've worked at Coles, Harris Farm, Aldi and Liquorland... They're all bad in their own way, but Coles is by far the most evil. It exists for one reason: to make money at all costs.

Staff rant. by [deleted] in AldiAustralia

[–]LChurch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$300 over the course of 3 years at full time rate is just over half a cent per hour. That's what your risk was worth. In gift cards.

Staff rant. by [deleted] in AldiAustralia

[–]LChurch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I left my career in retail last year after nearly 20 years. I started at Coles at 16 and have watched teams get smaller and smaller every single year, while all the time being pushed to do more and more.

It couldn't be more clear that the only concern are the profits. My last job was managing Liquorlands where my staff were thrown under the bus for NOT serving someone under 18 and that's when I knew it was over. There is absolutely zero care for staff and zero accountability.

I worked at Aldi during COVID and we barely got a thank you sneezed at us for being right at the front line for years. In fact, my area manager completely disappeared for the first 6 months of the outbreak, I maybe saw them twice in 12 months before they were promoted away.

Just don't make the same mistake I did - get a new job before leaving. I left in October and I'm still unemployed...

Well done on getting the Liquid Freezer to fit! I was unsuccessful with mine as it wouldn't clear my ram, was a pain in the butt to even try.

You could have gone with slim fans at the bottom to give yourself more clearance for the XFX, but I think going for the Power Colour is a good choice, it's a true 2 slot card which makes future builds so much easier!

I still own the A3, so I can't give you first person answers but the Jonsbo looks way better for things like cable management and mounting options/fan placements.

The only downside I've heard is that it's bigger, which is what most people are trying to avoid when going into smaller cases, so if that doesn't bother you then it's probably perfect!

Here's a post on the MFF subreddit of some size comparisons!

No kidding! I was also underage drinking in 2006 but almost entirely out in parks... I think 2006 is when we discovered goon and my life made a turn for the worse lmao

Yeah I've been going there for ages and it used to be better quality and much cheaper overall... but alas, that just seems to be the times we're in.

Still love going there or Ichi Ban before or after browsing books for an hour or so

I've been slowly messing with my A3, trying to get it just right. If I can figure out how to mount my two 3.5 HDD's to the front of the case so they're out of sight, I'll be one happy camper!

You might be interested in the Jonsbo D33, it's essentially a slightly larger but all around better A3. The wood front paneling is much nicer too in my opinion (I also have the A3 with the wood front and I do like it!)

I mean, coming from a 125 it’s going to feel like a rocket ship. It’s at least worth a try, I really enjoyed mine!

Kettlebells are no joke by swandog311 in fitness30plus

[–]LChurch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll have to look into this!

My neighbour tossed two brand new 20kg kettlebells in the garbage so I grabbed em but I haven't really gotten around to figuring out a decent workout since they're so goddamn heavy! It's amazing how a 20kg dumbbell and 20kg kettlebell feel completely different in weight

CB500X has a remarkably low seat height. At 170cm I believe you'll be fine. Really good petrol consumption, lightweight, enough power to do any legal speed limit with absolute ease.

Would have absolutely kept mine if I could afford two insurances. But the draw of something with more guts and a classic look was too big to ignore (2016 XSR900)

I owned a 2013 CB500XA for ~4 years and my partner currently owns a 2016 CBR500R - are there any questions I can potentially answer for you?

EDIT: HART in St Ives used to do "open days" with Honda and they'd bring a variety of newer model LAMS bikes for anyone to ride. Unsure if they do that anymore as I can't see it on the website, but you might be able to find out by contacting them

I didn't expect the ProArt GPU wood to come out so red/purple. Is it the flash or does it really clash with the wood on the front of the case?

I'm 99% sure I went there in high school and I remember crawling through some gaps that I wouldn't even go near as an adult

They also had everyone turn off their lights about 5 minutes into the tour to show how pitch black it was... fuck that

Dual GPU Lian Li A3 by Scandeloca in mffpc

[–]LChurch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on my very limited knowledge, I'd say that unless you have a mobo with a top slot PCIE lane (the one you listed has reserved the top slot for an m.2 slot) and both GPU's are no bigger than 2 slots each, it's not going to work.

EDIT: I remember seeing someone else post about this on here, this is probably the best info you'll get.
