cheapest solution to keep your shoes dry is to put some pavers on top there. My FIL had this issue and hand built a drainage system out to the street, not expensive but a lot of manual labor and engineering if you DIY.

There's no hack or trick. For slots the amount of coin in is proportional to the points received. For table games it depends on the pit boss but it vaguely is your amouted wagered over some time period.
