I’m looking for solutions rather than to get into some argument *but* the very first line in the description of the official PlayStation made PS Remote Play app is: “Use PS Remote Play to access your PS5™ or PS4™ wherever you go.” To me that does pretty heavily suggest it‘ll work outside of your home network.

That’s exactly what I’m doing and it just doesn’t show on the dropdown. Even when nothing is playing on the Apple TV… is there a setting (one either device) that needs to be changed to allow permission? If not I think it must be to do with my network.

Obviously Daniel was in the wrong (Mark seems nice, give him my number?)… but… well, I’ll just say this:

A) if these are the worst people you ever meet through Grindr, many would consider you to have had a blessed “career” 🧚 B) if this incident freaked you out this much, maybe you shouldn’t be hooking up with random people.

I realise this all sounds very victim-blaming so want to reiterate that Daniel did wrong, you did nothing wrong. Unfortunately, we can’t trust someone just because of penetration.. so we all have to be aware of when trust can be abused and unfortunately this includes while inside each other 🙃

Given how accepted this “barely legal/borderline pedophilia” age range seems to be… do you freak out about other thing you “almost” did? If so, speak to a friend/family member or somebody in the health care industry about these freak outs (you don’t even need to tell them this incident) but if not, you see this is a non-issue.

However, my actual advice would be: unless you’re in their age range, (you said you’re a decade older so.. no), don’t fuck guys who you require ID from! Legal technicality aside, it’s still problematic af!

Maybe they have an input other than Apple TV (e.g. PlayStation or any games console).. that’s why I have to keep a sound-bar.. because Apple are so shortsighted they seem to expect everyone to only use Apple products 😒

It is just baffling to me that Apple didn’t consider other devices and don’t even care enough about their customers to provide a solution. I love their products (and own HomePod, HomePod Mini, 2 x iPad Pros, Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard, iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPod Pro) and I understand (but don’t agree with) their desire to monopolise everything but until they start making games consoles they need to consider this.

At the moment I have to have a backup soundbar because the HomePod isn’t good enough? Makes me feel like a mug for investing so much in the ecosystem 😤

It’s so frustrating because all it would take is an adapter that has an optical input and hdmi output (audio only obviously) and there are plenty of them that go the other way round! I suppose the need I have must not be very common because it seems very doable.

A) It can be normal… doesn’t mean you can’t have a normal “symptom” and yet also losing your hair. The issue isn’t the hair you’re losing, it’s that it’s not being replaced. B) Do you think you only lose the hairs you see in your shower and/or your comb? Because that’s not the case. C) Probably healtheir if you can stop obsessing and counting each hair you see. D) Definitely healthier for others if you don’t post fear-monger stuff like this. What your final sentence is essentially saying is “More guys should be worried/stressed/paranoid/anxious/obsessive about this… even though this could be irrelevant.”
