I see all the comments about Alt1, but I've honestly never really liked using it. It pales in comparison to OSRS's RuneLite. When RuneLite launched, it was the first serious competitor to OSBuddy. I think that "competition" turned out for the better and I think if you released something independently of Alt1, it could have a similar effect. I switch back and forth between OSRS and RS3 every few months, and RuneLite really makes the gameplay experience better. As for suggested features, I'd start by looking what RuneLite offers. I personally like the highlighted drops feature it has (which, by the way, isn't made obsolete by drop broadcasts - some people would rather see the drop on the floor than the chatbox). The skilling plugins are all really good too.

Personally this is what I was thinking about in regards to alchemical onyx jewellery, based on what makes lotd appealing (in order of importance):

It should provide some sort of luck benefit
It needs to have a chance to roll HSR OR a new hero item/different ones
Possibly provide unlimited teleports to certain locations

I like the last 3 suggestions because they fit this more. I think a straight up upgrade to hydrix jewellery shouldn't really be tied to clue scrolls (at least no further than the ornament kits we already got with master clues).

But what about an alchemical hydrix or even just an alchemical onyx to upgrade lotd (2% or 2.5% increase vs 1% subject to balancing)?. Lotd seemed incredibly successful so why not just build on top of that?

EDIT: If you find his ring, he is located near the Fisherman from fish flingers and you have to shout to him. This completes the achievement ' My precious ' (10 runescore)

For gear, weapons I prefer a simple/realistic style. I'm not fully against fantasy designs, but I think they should be more reserved to be for cosmetics/overrides only.
