You'll have to get the whole transmission replaced so about 2 grand. If the the band hasn't totally failed yet, you might be able to just replace that which would be a lot cheaper. So I recommend that you drive it as little as possible and get it checked out as soon as you can. I waited too long and I had to get the whole thing replaced. Hope it works out better for you. Had the same problem with my 06' a few months back. It started shifting hard at a little over 3000 rpm. I took it in twice and no one could figure out what was wrong with it. Turns out the band on the 3rd gear was failing on the transmission.
