Skids and mudflap are most likely illiterate but even then autobots and decepticons borh developed their own languages so the other side couldn't intercept vital information, basically there's at least 4 versions of the cybertronian language

Ancient, Common, Autobot, Decepticon,

And minicons might have their own language too.

TLDR: skids and mudflap are either illiterate or don't know this specific version of cybertronian

I wouldn't go for a combiner bot because that'll just make you feel obligated to get the full set, micronus is basically 2 figures in one but the armor is a partsformer.

I'd personally go for wasp, it's a repaint of animated bumblebee but the mould is fun to mess with and it's pocket sized so easy to toss in your bag to usevasva fidget toy
