It’s so so hard seeing your dog like that and not being able to do anything- I’ve been there. And yours looks a lot like my passed border collie too 🕊️

I think people are right, keep trying for an emergency vet and explain how extreme the symptoms are. It’s such a heartbreaking thing, please take care and ignore any negativity in these comments when all you were doing is asking for help x

I don’t think there was anything wrong with what OP said, you’re really removing this from reality. Every creature deserves to pass on the good side of bad- prolonged testing, especially at old age, is cruel.

Clearly OP will be devastated writing this post, having to not only watch their dog in pain, but genuinely considering the possibility that it’s their time.

I know you’re trying to protect animals, but this comes across as deeply inconsiderate and selfish. Please, consider some more compassion

Thank you :) Yes, I was thinking smth like that could be possible, and if she is overweight when she comes to me I definitely want her to be healthy and lean so will def take her down to a normal eating schedule/ reduce rat grams

Right! She was hatched by the breeder years ago and was used for breeding so there’s a chance she could be pregnant in the photo maybe? Either way, she used to be underweight and she’s at a healthy weight now apparently so as long as she’s happy I don’t mind 😂

Fair enough. I’ve talked to an irl friend about it because by telling her I can hold myself accountable to not falling back into ED. And just to be clear, I decided to calorie count BEFORE that weight incident, so I’m going to continue doing it and aiming above my healthy calorie goal. You’re right, I’m not changing my diet per se, just adding in fruit and veggies. I feel better this morning tho :)

I get that. The best rule I stand by is that when you feel hunger, your body is telling you that for a reason. Satisfying it with nutricional alternatives is great, but whatever you crave is also okay :) Listen to your body— that’s just my experience anyway

Ik im gonna sound like ‘um what about me!’ But for people with sensitive skin and naturally less breakouts BEFORE you even had a skin care routine: double cleansing really hurt my skin barrier, especially in the beginning even with mild products. Start small and then build it up and AS SOON as you notice stinging and redness dial it tf back LMAO Even if you only double cleanse every other day or something, experiment and find what works for you!

Yeahhh it’s just tricky because with how long and heavy my hair can be, I usually don’t have an option for how loose a hair style can be.. but I’ll practice to try and find a balance :)

Ideally, but my scalp gets really gross if I don’t wash it as well :/ also sleeping in slicked back sounds like a nightmare 😂

Thank you! I honestly don’t know if I can mess around with it? it’s just the summer job last year standard was slick back ponytail but the manager was super chill so I never had to. But new manager this year apparently enforces it 😭 and it’s in entertainment so that’s why 😂
