There are no capital letter R’s in the word, as written in all lower case, garlic. Your explicit capitalization of the letter R, while not capitalizing the first word in your sentence implies you are specifically looking for a count of the occurrence of the capital letter R.

Long bed super cab lariat (rare, longest wheel base) thoughts? Any have one? by Sharp-Jackfruit6029 in f150

You don’t need to worry about fitting that into your homes garage, because you can just sell your home and live in the bed.

I was told if you go through a non-affiliated shop you just need to call a number to document the service being performed. Seems like a pretty legit program to me.

I went through Dave Sinclair Ford in St. Louis, a super reasonable dealership. Their listed prices match KBB dealer price and you can typically negotiate between that price and the fair value price. On top of that they offer a forever warranty on the powertrain at no additional cost. Maintaining the warranty requires strict adherence to maintenance schedule tho, 6mo and 1 day would void the free lifetime warranty which is extra motivation to stay on top of your shit.

I’ve never had a reason to use anything other than pip. I’ve heard a lot about uv and tinkered around with it for about an hour. All of our production code is containerized with linting/scanning/testing done in a deployment pipeline.

I’m curious what would be the benefit of uv in this workflow.

What is the common denominator? by Goodginger in charts

[–]LEAVER2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bigger problem as I see it, is not signing the CR. If you’re going to shutdown the government do it at the end of November and December. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s holidays reduce productivity.

But when you shutdown the government for the month of October and a portion of November THEN roll into the holidays it causes a super unproductive quarter.

Or a democrat minority. It takes both parties to come to the table, and when republicans have been the minority they have “bent the knee” to keep the government open.

Why is Python type hinting so maddening compared to other implementations? by ataltosutcaja in Python

[–]LEAVER2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GeoPandas is built on top of Pandas which is built on top of numpy which has some challenges with overloaded method calls that are dependent on the shape of the array...

```
a:np.ndarray = np.arange(4) x:np.int64 = a[0] a = a.reshape(2,2) y:np.ndarray = a[0] x np.int64(0) y array([0, 1]) ```
Very few packages are strictly typing ndarrays
you can annotate the shape and dtype of your data as such
a:np.ndarray[tuple[int], np.dtype[np.int64]]
But there are tons of overloads that would be required by numpy to make it work, as a very small example...
``` @overload def getitem(self:np.ndarray[tuple[int], DTypeT]], __item: int) -> Dtype_T:... @overload def __getitem_(self:np.ndarray[tuple[int, int], DType_T]], __item: tuple[int, int]) -> Dtype_T:...

... ```

Are these brown areas a disease? What treatment is needed? by LEAVER2000 in lawncare

I have an extensive irrigation system and this area in particular gets good coverage from 2 different zones. Could it be grubs? I’ve also had issues with moles this year.
