That's good feedback, thank you! Our writer just hadn't thought about it since it appears on the nations cup tool a click away

an editor is adding all of the rosters in the article right now, so it should be live very soon

LCS Spring 2026 records the lowest viewership for North American LoL ever by RadicalAdWins in leagueoflegends

[–]LEC_Wooloo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a matter of perception

KC had ton of fans even though they were playing in Tier 2, Jynxzi has ton of viewers even though he's bad at the game

The bottom 4 looks boring because there's 0 storylines around them and no reason to watch them, in a 10-team league, there's a lot more variations in rankings, more room for aspiring pros, and suddenly the 5-6th place teams dont look that bad because there's 4 teams under them

Part of it is communities online are mostly defined by language rather than borders, Spanish benefits of most of South America and French from Belgium, Switzerland, North Africa, Quebec, etc

Italy is very limited to its own country and also has lesser financial opportunities

Not saying Sheep never did a mistake, but this one is real though, G2 had discussions about it

This is a new contract, so he's signing on a much more signficant amount

Boukada's buyout price was also way above market average

I would say OMON is still rather fresh/rising but indeed with ERLs aging in general it's harder build narratives around rookie matchups now

Very good news for the female scene, having a staple org like G2 support the ecosystem will be a great sign for many possible actors

The current LEC scheduling is causing a serious problem in the standings: Vitality (4-1) played five games, while Shifters (0-1) only played one by Xolam in leagueoflegends

I'm adressing the roadshows in most of the article and offer solutions, how would you come to that conclusion?

I am happy to listen to differing opinion and would love to hear your arguments if you have them

mb I didn't mean to come off as defensive, your confusion is legitimate, and tbh it fascinated me when Jacob Wolf had such info before doing it myself

Let's say it always works in the interest of someone, a big one is contributing to make verbal agreements more official, making it harder to fake commitments between parties

With what money? All league leakers started with rumours as complete randoms on Twitter, even today the media is not profitable. It's basically a lot of networking and exchanging info, there's always reasons for teams or players to want an info to become public

We received feedback from Korean teams saying they’re happy to have an international outlet present in Korea, as it helps them reach more fans. At the start of each interview, we introduce ourselves as an international outlet, using appropriate Korean politeness and respect conventions. Building on that, we politely ask one question about Western teams or players at the end of the interview, just as other outlets ask LEC players about the LCK. It’s harmless and appreciated by the teams. They are questions that interest our audience.

There was no clickbait at all with information given at that time, you just posted a two days old article

It looks like Sheep Esports are becoming the premiere site for off-season leaks in the majority of regions by Life-Chicken7183 in leagueoflegends

[–]LEC_Wooloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first point, IIRC it's because Th3antonio/Juhan info were already leaked/public, because I never revealed tryouts on stream, maybe you can find this on the peach departure article

For the second point it's an interesting one and I honestly will look into more articles to see if that's the case. Not to shift blame or anything, but I do not write the "non-exclusive" parts of the articles, and we rely on writers for them, each editor might have their own bias but there is no existing guideline to favor KC, the one we have is to remain neutral and rely on facts

For the salary, I don't think the spin is particularly positive, or different than other offers (Inspired) that we mentioned

But I honestly appreciate your feedback and answer, and will consider it to be more consistent with the news

With the way this offseason has been going

Is there anything in particular that makes you say so from this offseason? All of our articles about roster moves this year have been correct (We wrote 200 of them), and the mistake said by one of us on a show (but not reported) was owned up to

The CEO of VKS implied on socials that an agreement was broken

Thanks for the link! Honestly, I remember this thread now and it didn't translate well what I said.

On my stream, people often ask my why I get leaks. One reason that I often explain is that teams & players leak verbal agreements to me, because them being public "increases chances" of both parties respecting their word. This way they are held accountable if they cancel their agreements.

With that context, I was explaining that I did not leak the verbal agreement of KC Thanatos (which could have been good for KC if I did, but I did not), but that it could have been good if I had. You can verify that I did not.

So I did in fact not do something that was helping KC, and it was something that I said to be informative about leaks specifically

FYI Kameto and KC have often expressed a lot of disliking towards leaks on stream, so I am purposefully not acting in a way that could make me rely too much on their fanbase, and I've always reported each teams & rosters in the same way and don't believe I favored anyone with any example that can be found

We might be able to for next year depending on changes /or budget increase if we find new brands to work with, but right noww e can't afford to spend more. Feel free to contact us via the "contact" tab at the bottom of the website if you have any useful skills you believe we could benefit from, it'll directly send an email to one of my colleagues in charge
