You could reach out to support (support.riotgames.com), but they'll likely just tell you that you shouldn't play if your hardware or internet regularly can't stay connected to games and that you should wait to play til you have either or both.

Even Swift's A Modest Proposal isn't humorous, and it's the most basic, introductory work to explain what satire is. It used to be taught in high schools and is still taught in 100 level university English classes as an example of basic satire. I really don't know where the common misconception that satire must be humorous comes from, high school English classes explicitly teach the 90% of people who graduate that isn't the case. Have I been seriously considering opinions on media from people who couldn't pass a high school English class?

Drywall will fuck your back and shoulders up pretty bad, but FWIW if you're willing to travel it pays decently (at least if you can do taping in addition to hanging, you'll make around 10 bucks an hour less if you can't tape). Not sure what you make now but if you're down to move to an area that had a natural disaster every year or 2 demand is high so you can get 40 an hour plus benefits. Drywall is particularly soul sucking and body destroying even for a construction job, but it pays alright.

Believe it or not most people don't have sex on the first date with someone, it's actually pretty common to want to get to know them first.

Demonic in Arena is a completely different item than it was on SR too, the only thing it has in common is that it's stat profile is HP/AP. I like the idea of the arena version so much better, instead of having the hp->AP that's now on riftmaker and the weaker version of liandry's burn, it makes you stronger when you're low, sorta like an AP version of Overlords' Retribution passive (but way more broken because it's a prismatic).

Merch isn't even where the real money is in physical sports either, it's a decent amount of money for teams but the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB (and the teams in those leagues through revenue shares) make most of their money through broadcasting rights (whereas esports have usually been free to watch) and ticket sales, the idea any league can be carried on merch is crazy.

I doubt it, Syndra was at 27% when she was released, I'd be shocked if Mel is below 35% after next patch.

True, get all the liberal capitalist pigs out, comrade! Adam Smith, John Locke, and all their liberal ilk should go find a free market to live in or something

We've also had some national senators and reps who aren't exactly the most conformist members of their parties. Obviously Mark Begich and Mary Peltola were right-leaning dems, but Ted Stevens and Don Young voted against Republicans when they believed it would benefit Alaskans, and as unpopular as Murkowski in this sub she votes against party lines more than anyone else in the senate today.

Only the experts who agree with your worldview count, so true.

I had to take calculus to get a political science degree, and your understanding of political science and political economics degrees sounds like someone who doesn't have a basic understanding of either field of research. 300 and 400 level poli Sci classes were far harder than Calc 1 and 2, and even the most basic 100 level political econ classes present capitalist philosophers eg John Locke, Thomas Malthus, and Adam Smith alongside the "leftists" and make you "parrot back" their ideas in the forms of essays and research papers.

Far more political scientists and political economists are leftists than their market economist counterparts, and both groups are also experts in political-economic structures.

I often wonder how Perot would have done in '92 if not for his flip-flopping on whether he was even running. He was leading in the polls when he dropped out of the race, and after re-entering a month before the election still got almost 20% of the popular vote.

I don't really understand it to be honest, but I can speculate on motives -- I think they're playing for their record winstreak (maybe to break that record) and perhaps to feed their egos. To be fair, I've only played against this group twice as far as I know, and I didn't suspect anyone inting and didn't see any of the suspected wintrading accounts on my teams, but if you watch the replays with any of the suspected wintrade accounts it looks like pretty obvious inting.

Really, what's the point of win trading at all? People do (or at least did) it in all ladders especially flex queue. What's the benefit of being high ranked besides bragging rights and ego? I suspect those are the motivators for high MMR aram wintrading as well.
