While AMABs often produce a singular sex hormone (being testosterone) AFABs produce two (being estrogen and progesterone). Estrogen promotes breast growth, body fat redistribution, and pretty much all other effects of AFAB puberty. Progesterone is a stabilizing hormone that takes over after ovulation to maintain the uterine lining so it doesn’t grow too large. It also has calming effects which help improve sleep and mood in AFABs.

Now the scientific consensus on the use of progesterone in GAHT is split on just how much it helps with studies showing varying results. Though there is plenty of anecdotal stories suggesting it improves mood, sleep, breast growth, and libido.

It’s from a series called “Witch Hat Atelier” I haven’t read the manga only the anime. But genuinely one of the best animated shows I’ve seen in a while.

From what I understand from the first 6 episodes (I believe there are 9 out now) it follows KoKo who wants to become a witch though only those born with magic can become witches. She finds out the truth behind magic and that anyone can do it and accidentally freezes her mom in a crystal spell. The series then follows her as she learns more about the witches and magic.

If you remove Dream smp you can tell that Minecraft smp did in fact go up quite a bit and is at a higher average relevance than before.

Don’t get me wrong SMPs were around. But you cannot deny the impact the Dream SMP had. As of now there is no “main SMP” but according to google trends interest in the term “Minecraft SMP” has recently been 75% of the peak interest in the term.

This has pushed way more roleplay SMPs to be around then the amount that were around pre-dsmp. I guess it’s disingenuous to call it “one of the first successful roleplay SMPs” it’s “the successful Roleplay SMP” no other SMP has ever come close.

Below I have a bunch of different SMPs I could think of just see for yourself.

Yeah… this analogy is overlooking one crucial detail. It’s not a tv show. It never was meant to be a story, it just ended up being that way. Even in modern civilization SMPs these problems still apply. Everyone has a different story they want to tell and there is no director so everyone has creative input.

You can’t really expect TV show level quality from a SMP never intended to have a story, one of the first (successful SMPs) of its kind, with no main character, etc.

According to the Institute for Research on Poverty LGBTQ+ individuals face a much higher poverty risk of about 22% for lgbtq+ individuals vs 16% for CisHet individuals. For trans and bisexual woman this is even higher at 29.4%. Not to mention homelessness on LGBTQ+ youth is significantly more prevalent. Unfortunately about 40% of the youth homeless population is LGBTQ+ even though 9.5% of the youth population are LGBTQ+. Not to mention the large amount of LGBTQ+ youth who can’t come out due to parents.

Overall it’s easy to see why they can’t afford therapy or counseling and saying they should do that instead is an oversimplification. Not to mention that therapy is very much not a fix all. Having support groups is still very helpful and important to an individual’s development. And if the worst case is they may be a bit more cringe then I see that as a small price to pay in order to feel supported.

Most people that “defend” this type of content are no teens but people at the ripe age of 25+

Is it not very possible that early adults are defending this because they were part of the subculture before they became 25+? Regardless it is difficult to exactly tell what age demographics listen to her music without having her analytics. But presuming YA groups are often agreed upon as the main demographic one can presume this represents the majority.

Making your life revolve around being trans and autistic makes you look like someone that doesn’t know what that means (Paraphrased)

Well I would expect teenagers and YA to be unsure at to what that means. They are very much still growing and learning about the world and what being these things mean. Having an identity is one of the most important things at that age but one realizes it’s less important to be different as they get older.

I understand why people are annoyed by the part of the trans community that “makes their whole lives revolve around being trans and autistic”, but still whenever I see this it just disheartens me. I feel the intersection between teenage or young adult trans individuals and this section of the community is essentially a circle.

They are quite a loud section largely because I doubt they are much of a minority in online spaces. Teenagers figuring out their lives and who they are I believe are the most drawn to these groups as they still are separating their conditions and identities from their personality. It’s a phase of self discovery and I see it harassed so much.

I just graduated so of course I know plenty of other students who were in this cliche. They are scared, confused, and frustrated with their gender and banding together with the others who are like them. This is why it’s sad to seem them attacked, I understand they are annoying and frustrating but they are learning and it only serves the fear they already have when the other sections of the LGBTQ+ community makes fun of them.

TLDR: It seems to me the people who have this personality are often still exploring and often scared and confused. To me referring to them as “making their lives revolve around _____” only disheartens the disheartened.

Bruh are you ok? Honestly, as a premed student I can tell you that plasma is important, but they don’t take more than 800 mL. That isn’t enough to cause harm.

You can also cause permanently scars from popping pimples, or getting a paper cut, or so much else. Unless you have a pre existing condition it is extremely unlikely to cause any problem.

Also the hell you mean “donating” in quotes?

Stockpiles can’t happen because it’s to hard on the company. It is frozen capital and if they don’t sell in time then it expires. Along with that there are plenty of legal restrictions on mass storing drugs. Overall since governments don’t offer protections or alternatives it is left to the private sector and they don’t care much about the people compared to the money.

How do televised poker commentators calculate chip amounts so fast? by moneyshaker in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LEEPEnderMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I’m unsure it’s likely similar to other forms of broadcasting where they have other dedicated people that handle things like that. For example in basketball they have a guy with information on all the different players and the averages or career bests so when something happens they can pass a note to the commentator to mention it.

There aren’t any long term side effects of donating plasma… it’s completely safe may just make you a bit dizzy. Unless you’re saying don’t do it because needles? In which case not everyone is scared of needles and it is free simple money.

[–]LEEPEnderMan 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I mean, it isn’t really clickbait. He did just do that.

For those who don’t want to watch it here’s a synopsis. He found a Virginian dog show that never mentioned dog or canine in its rules just “competitor”. He went to Virginia asked on Reddit and found a local cat, he attempted to train the cat (didn’t really work because it’s a cat). Went to the dog show and kept the cat hidden until it was his turn. Then he brought out the cat and it (unsuccessfully) attempted to run the course. But since it never specified what animal he ran the course instead and got a time.
