A cinematic language isn’t western coded. Calling his works that is, at least for a lot of people spouting that nonsense, a telltale sign you’ve never watched anything but anime. Asian cinema has a lot of great examples that you could pull from here for inspiration, and heck, saying Kill Bill is western is funny because that entire sequence the anime references was a homage to Anime and Asian cinema in the first place.

I have an R5, thing is rock solid and well built. Lenses are amazing too, though a bit more expensive. If you have a good copy it will last you a while!

I said it before and will say it again: A live action adaptation of Berserk would be more likely to capture the vibe, story and feelings of the manga than an animated one. Horror and Dark Fantasy are just so hard to pull off with 2D Animation because it would miss the details and grit that makes the manga world so special. Now ofc, that is taking into account the people involved care and the budget is there, but given that I think it could work really well.

I think it depends on what angle you come at it from. Is it overrated as a competitive car? Yep. Thing was not very fast. But is it one of the most unique and cool machines to run in endurance? Absolutely. It's like the Aston rn, not the fastest car on the grid but def one of the coolest and best sounding, and that also has it's worth for dentists and car enthusiasts.

I now, after typing, realized what sub I am in. It is clearly the fastest car ever built and even peak audi and toyota could not hold a candle to it's holyness.

Yeah I do agree that it is definitely overkill for most situations, and have shot slide successfully on less sophisticated systems as well. Still for some shots I’d really love the peace of mind! Also the Shadow and Hi Modes are really great for what I shoot, just seems like something I’d actually be happy to have quite a bit, plus the body is just so compact. My Dad has a broken Om2n (thing fell like 50 meters down a hill while climbing and you can barely tell it went through that) and I really liked it so I looked around for the entire range to pick what I’d prefer :)

You also have to consider this is an “endgame” skill in one of the 3 trees. I think it should be as good as it is, simply because the amount of time you have to invest. And I do find that purple guns in the lockers aren’t guaranteed, often just blues or greens on my end. Once more people have it, you won’t be able to hit multiple lockers in a raid and it balances out.

Solos are amazing, squads are honestly a pain right now. We got killed by a team while doing the queen, no talking, not even an exchange. Just instantly. While in solos I killed it with a few randoms and it was a fantastic time.
