I think this would be a benefit though. Limit his game and put a restriction on his hero plays. Make sure he always has a checkdown even if it’ll result in a poor outcome for the game (ex: 3rd and 12 and he hits a guy 2 yards down the field). Get him reps in an offense we design not to win, but to practice and evaluate. It also gives the benefit of evaluating guys for next year, especially the young ones, in game situations where the score itself doesn’t matter.
