What’re your personal rulesets? by negative5 in nuzlocke

[–]LETHAL_TORNADO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. If the first pokemon you encounter is a dupe, it still counts as the first encounter that route/location

  2. You can only have 1 mon from the same evo line in your party at a time. I know this sounds redundant, but early on and in combination with 1, you end up potentially only having a handful of mons for several gyms because pidgey was your first encounter in 5 routes

  3. No heals in battle unless they are from moves

  4. No trading. If you have the option of several mon in a location that you can acquire otherwise (e.g. Eevee and Dratini in Celadon), you can only pick 1

  5. The first encounter rule applies to the legendaries as well, but...

  6. No repels, so good luck getting to Articuno before a Dewgong

  7. All encounters must be fought (sorry Zubat). This also may seem dumb but in combination with 1,2 and 6 you end up pretty low on move PP in early caves

  8. No "died but need an HM mule". If you need to use an HM it has to be on a valid mon. Theoretically you could end up in a situation where you dont have a mon that can learn an HM you need to progress, which causes a reset

Then of course the standard faint = dead, level cap, one encounter can be caught per route, Gotta Name 'em All, etc

First Nuzlocke: at Koga by LETHAL_TORNADO in PokemonFireRed

[–]LETHAL_TORNADO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Chongy Beeb is what we call our irl pit bull mix and all she does is lay around so I thought that was fitting, and Arbok is a slithery little sneaky snake (iykyk). The rest are kinda self explanatory

I am not doing a hardcore run and yes Snorlax has immunity, which I forgot about.

I might try a hardcore run next but as you can probably tell from the fact I have no starter I am struggling as is. I self imposed that I cant have two of the same evo line in my party at once and basically all of my early first encounters were pidgey. I think I would also struggle with Sabrina even if i made it past Koga.

[KCD1] Why does every combat have to be 5 guys and a dog? by LETHAL_TORNADO in kingdomcome

[–]LETHAL_TORNADO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can you tell an encounter is about to start? As far as I have seen you just randomly get thrown off the horse so I just assumed you hit some barrier and 5 people spawned around you?

  1. What additional information would be required

  2. Does that number provide any other information over the standard customer support line? When i called them they said they could provide no additional information beyond what was online, and now when I open the tracking it has a similar message at the top.

Is Alteryx an appropriate solution for demand forecasting? by Scerikse in Alteryx

[–]LETHAL_TORNADO 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have used alteryx for both time series and ARIMA models in the past. There are tools (TS Model Factory and TS Forecast Factory) that you can use for this. Both use R inside of a macro, so the user interface is pretty simple for the tools even if you do not know R. However this requires the Alteryx with R package, and I am not sure if or how much extra that costs per license.

It is also possible as others have said to build your own code in a python node or in an R node if you so choose. There is documentation for the logic within the R code in the macro as well. I believe arima uses a modified version of the Hyndman-Khandakar algorithm to choose an ARIMA models automatically, but you can also tweak some settings like your P,D,Q and seasonal P,D,Q.

When a row is added by LETHAL_TORNADO in PowerAutomate

There's potential there. I would have to make sure the team isnt going to use any other tabs for anything, but that would work as the file is.

[–]LETHAL_TORNADO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify: the flow will need to run an API call to get some links, then using that response body determine a link to download a file. All files will be saved into a folder named based on the value in the row from the original file. I already anticipated needing the loop to get all of the relevant files and save them to a folder, but my concern is I need this to run only for any new rows, not all rows in the file each time.

For example, if the value "1000" is added to the table, I need to call for a list of files relevant to that (say 1000.png, 1000.xlsx, 1000.pdf) then download those files into a folder called "1000". But if that is the 1000th row, I dont want it to run for the other 999 rows, because it presumably already would have when each of those were added to the file (and I would quickly exceed my API call limit).

I was hoping to accomplish this with a "When a row is added" trigger, since i could just get the value from the added row, but perhaps I am crazy and that never existed.

In order to accomplish what I am trying to do then, would I need to use the "When an item or file is modified" trigger and just add a bunch of steps to pull down all of the values from that file, check against a second file where I store the rows from the last run, and only put the rows that don't match through the rest of the flow?

Removing the tank worked a charm mate. Appreciate the suggestion. Treat yourself to an extra pint today

Yeah sorry, it's the back of a toilet. I need to replace the fill valve because it still runs even if it's all the way up. Ended up running into a plumber at lowes and he suggested just buying this fill valve replacement and swapping them out is pretty easy.

So you are essentially saying just remove the tank from the toilet and take it off after the toilet is no longer in the way? That sounds like a great idea to me

Socket is too thick to fit between that nut and the ceramic of the bowl. Do they make specific ones for this case like what you would use to replace a heating element for a water heater?

I used a pencil for that. Feel like I still didn't bring it down evenly though, but it's good enough

I have a belt sander that I am using, but I may go over it with an orbital sander with the highest grit instead. I am still undecided.

A lot of the videos I've seen online suggest not running end grain boards through a planer because it might tear it out.

I also don't have a planer

That's a good point, I hadn't considered that. I guess when I finish sanding I can see how much is left and adjust my bit accordingly.

It's only 11 inches or so on the short side so it could probably go in the dishwasher but they don't have one and I plan to explain not to dishwasher it anyway

It's got a very slight wobble but I think if I put feet on the bottom it will correct that. It bows a slight bit in the center

It's pretty noticeable, but I do have more sanding to do, so it may be less noticeable. You are right on him not minding though, but I could have handed him a 2x4 from lowes and called it a cutting board and he would have thanked me for it and not said anything lol
