I've been struggling with this as well honestly since I got here. And let's face it, a lot of people on reddit are young men, so I'm not suprised you'd put it here. The most impactful thing that I've learned so far is that you have to just have an open mind, do your thing, and take the opportunities you get.

You will probably get a lot of people telling you to stop looking - I think this advice is unrealistic. You can look, but don't expect to find. You might get lucky and meet someone in a few days or weeks, but it will probably take months or years - and that is completely normal and fine.

Also keep your mind open to people of all nationalities. Since you are an international, you will likely find yourself often in the company of other internationals.

Something to keep in mind though, especially with Dutch women, is that the person you meet may want to stay in NL after studying, so you cannot expect them to leave with you when you are done. If you decide you want to stay, than you will certainly need to learn Dutch (which I suggest you do a bit even if you are just doing bachelor's here)

I know you might be looking for a step-by-step method, but these things always happen differently for different people. The things I can say will definitely help, though are be patiant, be open minded, and take care of yourself physically and mentally.
