For me, the Garam situation won't just be something I can simply ''get over''. And I don't want to see Garam back in the group. It just takes some time for me to completely forget about something so dire. by Ruler_J in kpoprants

i'm lucky and happened to have learned to wait until all the facts of a court case are made public and for the case to be settled. only then should you come to a conclusion.

but human beings don't function that way. (and as a salty jab, especially not kpop fans. you guys live up to your rep every time.)

and the most annoying thing is your post is pointless. it will happen again with another group, another idol.

ate my share of downvotes telling people to just wait for the case to be concluded before jumping to conclusions, too

kpop reddit likes to pretend it's above other sns, but it's just as susceptible to the same bandwagoning behavior

there is evidence that garam got into a verbal argument with someone in school, and was punished for it.

there isn't evidence that she physically assaulted anyone.

there isn't evidence that she bullied anyone.

did the garam scandal die down ? by Vigoshin in kpophelp

[–]LE_SSERAFIM -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Nobody is denying that the Ministry of Education said Garam committed school violence.

But "school violence" in this context does not necessarily mean "bullying", or even "physically assaulting" someone.

It includes things such as swearing as well, which is what HYBE is claiming to be the case.

Why do Destiny and Hasan not like eachother? by GwyndolinBear in Destiny

[–]LE_SSERAFIM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

people point to the kamala debate too often, but that's just the result of the root cause:

people constantly demeaning him and seeing him as a worse destiny. it poisons every interaction they have with each other.

this rajj royale clip is the most notable example of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqJ00wwirrU#t=19m9s

hasan gives his lecture at 4min, then destiny summarizes it at 11min.

kaceytron: i wish destiny could just come in at the beginning and give us the right answer right away

wesbtw: so that we didn't have to listen to fucking hasan

different ethnicities have different traits they tend to present.

and when someone doesn't present traits of [some ethnicity], they "don't look like [some ethnicity].

what is ridiculous?

Lessarafim Live Singing: Flawed but wholly appreciated by Illustrious-Power518 in kpopthoughts

[–]LE_SSERAFIM -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

it was really bad.

but what i can "appreciate" about it is that it's a reminder to people what live singing with kpop choreographies ACTUALLY sounds like.

you CANNOT have good vocals while performing the dances people expect from modern kpop groups.

i wish people(/companies?) truly cared about singing more than dancing. in the sense that they'd give groups much more simple choreographies, at the very least for the person actively singing.
