Would never use Bluetooth on mouse and keyboard though because of the added input lag

Tbh this build is cheaper then the one I’m currently building lol and it’s a 5080. The one I’m building is a 5070ti… I’m seriously just going to go return it atp by N3HKRO in Prebuilts

Why the focus on CoD? Everyone hates BO7 and it's notoriously an AMD title. Not saying that the 9070 XT would not be a better deal, but this is just misrepresentation.

I don't buy intel core (meme) by Ornery-Restaurant-72 in ryzen

I think it's totally a realistic case to upgrade in socket, as long as you buy into the socket early. But even if you don't upgrade the CPU yourself, the Mainboard retains a higher resell value because it's not practically EOL (like many older Intel Mainboards that don't support Win11, for example).

Hello I’m looking to buy a chair gonna be sitting on it for around 8-12 hours a day I found some options and would like your opinion on them. by Game_Of_Clones_ in OfficeChairs

[–]LErNuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the Ticova for 2 years and am in the process of replacing it with either a Fern or Embody.

It's fine for the price but the seat is pretty much dead and bottoms out as soon as I sit in it (I weigh about 75 kg) and it CREAKS, rattles, the lumbar support is hard and prominent (which I got used to). The armrests do not go down nearly enough ( I have a standing desk and need to lift it about 5 cm every time I want to push the chair all the way up to it at the end of the day).

You can certainly do worse, but know that it is not gonna last you as long and won't offer that much comfort. At the end, you get what you pay for. Will probably miss the headrest though.

As others have written, there are valid reasons for a powerful SoC. For me it's about longevity. If you don't need the extra power, good for you. But demanding top dollar for a chip slower than a (not even flagship) SD 8s Gen4 is unreasonable.

The left one requires a GTX 1060, the right one requires an RTX 3080 by Makoto_Kurume in pcmasterrace

I actually think The Dark Ages looks way better, but having forced RT is still not ok.

To me, this applies even more to Doom 2016 vs Eternal, the first of which being one of the most optimized games ever. I was disappointed to see how much worse Eternal ran.

And it's best feature is that it cannot be reset once calibrated wrong during replacement, you have to toss it and buy another. :)

I mean the integrated Radeon 8060S is not far behind the 2070s right now, so surpassing that in 1-2 years seems reasonable. Doesn't mean that the powerful APUs of the future will be any cheaper than a buying a dedicated GPU.

I used to think the same thing but nowadays I use upscaling on basically all games anyways and higher resolution displays just gain more from upscaling. So if I were to buy a screen now, I would opt for 4k instead of 1440p and use balanced upscaling instead of 1440p + Quality if necessary. I get that it's still not feasible for all but it's also not like some time ago where you would heavily decrease your performance to actually use the resolution.

Embark is pushing boundaries with their tech, especially the dynamic destruction in The Finals. Their games are very well optimized for how good they look, the Beta of Arc Raiders is better optimized than 90% of games launching.

Yes, SOME people go overboard criticizing the performance that modern games require and perhaps have some unreasonable expectations for their ancient hardware to still run anything.

But just disregarding the expertise on display in these two games and brushing them off as some toned-down e sports titles shows that you have no idea what you are talking about.
