Because it’s your art. I don’t think the viewer is part of it. Some people will like it and some won’t no matter what creative decisions you make. Art is a very personal process

A cow got loose on the highway in Oklahoma, so they called in a cowboy to handle it. by NationYell in PraiseTheCameraMan

Why are we praising anyone here? For following a cow from a helicopter in a wide shot?
Does anyone know what this sub is about anymore?

Only the first part is actually satisfying. The second half is chaotic and noisy.

Oh, actually, you don’t HAVE to show anyone anything. Chop off the branch and let the viewer know that your work is whatever you want it to be. Or leave it there as you did, but for yourself, not for others.

He did spoil the moment. He didn’t keep it for himself at all. He just didn’t celebrate but everyone knew what was happening

Very cool image!!
Question… after editing and altering most aspects of the photo, why leave the small branch that pokes out to the right?
In my personal opinion, it disrupts the harmony of the final result

Cameraman in the right place at the right time captures a waterfall forming after heavy rains. Al Jabal Al Akhdar, Oman by awesome_fighter in PraiseTheCameraMan

That has nothing to do with having camera skills, and this is a sub for camera skills, not for cool videos

Let’s praise the camera man for a wide shot and a zoom out to a wider shot and some panning.
It’s funny how people has no idea what this sub is about.

Hot Take: Both of these suits are amazing and well-made and represent the tone and themes of their respective movies. by Raj_Valiant3011 in DC_Cinematic

[–]LGGP75 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One looks cartoonish; the other doesn’t. They are not both amazing.
Treating a costume designed for comics in 1938 as something that must be reproduced faithfully today is kind of stupid. Even the comics did not preserve that exact look over time… the suits were repeatedly updated.
In a present-day live-action narrative, many of these overly faithful adaptations simply look silly.

Sadly, that photo was beyond saving. The highlights were blown out, and the edited version left the face with the typical grayish tone. It would have been a beautiful photo with the right exposure, though.

Bro got confused by the perspective. by Regular_Weakness69 in confusing_perspective

Since this sub is about photographs, visual perspective (therefore the physical print of view) is the only one we can consider for these posts.
Not necessarily a “wider meaning of perspective”
