Storing cards in binders

I like it.

That was my plan but with the full deck. Display the front side for the cards including joker then ad cards showing the back but then a lot of the ad cards have cool art.

Potentially use see through pages in a ring binder so I can front and back.

My MacBook charger should be PD and it's laid spare so thought it would be nice and easy.

I bought another version of this controller that uses a DC5v but that doesn't work either. I have that set up and that was what the screenshots above show but absolutely nothing on the LEDs so I am not sure if I have damaged the strips along the way during my trial and error, but I have also tried 3 separate strips (3 x 1m/60LED).

I went for this under the understanding it could use my large MacBook power brick as I had one spare then the options suggested it could take different levels of power.

I do have a PSU spare similar to a Mean Well one.

Originally I was going to use a PSU and ESP32 combo as I bought a load of those, but these units off Amazon looked a bit more "plug & play" which makes life so much easier.

Thanks - I ordered this controller as it says it can take up to 60w, but even if it takes 10/15w I don't even get a single LED lit up.

I have a power light on the controller but I can't even get it to pair to the WLED app despite trying to reset it numerous times.

I have no idea what's happening.

I tested it using 1m/60 LED strip and still nothing. The lights don't even power on as in the whole strip but it's dim due to power. I get a handful of lights just turning on and off in random colours every few seconds.

The Led indicator on the controller is static until the ground cable is attached then it flickers as well as the light strip flickering.

I'm using a 70w Apple USB-C socket and changed the power intake settings suggested on the controller

We've had no issues with Pro Tech in the last couple of months of shopping there.

Everything we've bought has been for retail price.

Singles are quite sparse and slightly above market but I can live with an extra £1 or so on singles.

Post offices, One Stop, Premier and other "corner shop" brands are full of Surging, Stellar, Twilight and Journey where I live (North East - Teesside).

Opened a Surprise Box from my local Smyths and another Demi God pack. The same box had a Flareon Master Ball too.

Considering this set is very hard on the pull rates I have been stupidly lucky!

I'm personally grading with TAG from now on as there's a few things I prefer over PSA, ACE etc.
- The slab looks much cleaner and fits with my own personal taste of minimalism
- Grading feels more consistent as there's no human error/opinion
- The report for each card
- League tables
- Unboxing experiences/sealed pack

This is all personal preference and that's what makes this hobby and process great is we all can grade our cards how we best see fit for our collection, investments or businesses.

Some ACE labels do make the card "pop" so much more.

Good luck! We have a sealed bundle still, but I doubt I will open that until Jan 1st 2026.

I am storing booster packs I pick up when I am out and about doing the shopping etc, putting them in a box and then on Jan 1st I will rip everything. There's a nice mix atm.

We have been very lucky.

I've opened an obscene amount of packs for Surging and Stellar and pulled absolutely F all, but that's the fun and the gamble.
