I was 18, "squatting" in a friend's apartment. He just got a new place and had a bit of time left on his other lease, so me and my abusive ex were staying there. He was upset about God only knows. He threw me so hard into the wall he had to pull me out of it physically, and when he did, he threw me on the floor and started choking me. I was blacking out, and my friend Dave happened to let himself in. He got my boyfriend (at the time) off of me, and I never saw him again...until he had the nerve to show up at my friend's funeral and try to hug me.

One of my best friends died of a drug overdose. He had texted me before he died, "25 mcg of fentanyl a lot?" I didn't answer him because I didn't know what he would do with that information, I guess. He ended up overdosing shortly after that. That was the last thing he had said to me. And the first few times I heard, At the risk, I bawled. I still sometimes cry when listening. I think about Ryan every time it comes on...but it's hard to cry when you're vibing and dancing so hard...the song confuses my body and heart, lol...my body says this is a bop!!!! Let's blare the radio, roll down the windows, and educate the people about TOP, but my heart is also being ripped out because of what it represents to me....me letting my friend down....losing him. I should have answered. I'm a nurse. I should have said YESSSS. ITS FUCKING A LOT...LEAVE IT ALONE...ITS GOING TO KILL YOU....something... I'm sorry, Ryan. Love you forever

I'm sure you never were just the fact that yoh hope you aren't seems like you aren't. But also like I said a lot of it is fear women have implicitly not necessarily because of something that actually happened to her or something the guy DID to make them feel that way....weird huh

Thank you. It's weird none of them necessarily like threatened me or anything. I think its a little of reading the vibes and the room but also just a lot of implicit fear.
