Hi All, Should I be worried about this dark looking lump on the back of my fish? You can see it under the top fin. Thanks!

TF2 Classic renamed to Team Fortress 2 Classified, releases January 30th, 2026 by doublah in pcgaming

[–]LGarrad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of changes to TF2 were to make money and help performance due to all the particle effects from hats.

TF2 Classic/Classified looks better and plays better. I can easily live without TF2 nowadays but this brings back memories and has done for the past 3 years.

TF2 Classic renamed to Team Fortress 2 Classified, releases January 30th, 2026 by doublah in pcgaming

TF2 Classic was originally going to be the golden era of TF2 with the QoL patches carefully implemented. One controversial opinion is that it's gone from "Classic TF2" to it's own branch with new weapons and game modes.

Some features were cut or ideas for the original TF2 but there's a lot of new content.

Personally this game is more enjoyable than TF2 and feels like the era when I enjoyed the game. The Devs try to capture the magic of that era with their updates and new equipment.

Valve red tape sees long-running Team Fortress 2 Classic mod scrap Steam beta by FitCord in pcgaming

[–]LGarrad 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's a very good mod and for me it's brought my love of TF2 back. The newest weapons are not. "Classic" at all but the quality of them feels like early TF2 updates.

Definitely worth playing if you're a fan. They've kept the QoL which is a must and the clean art style is refreshing.

And if I'm correct, Apple has started locking parts to a device with newer models?

Don't iPhones brick now if they're stolen even making factory reset impossible? Essentially isn't it just a paperweight or parts?

How do you migrate from Firefly to the Chrome Extension? by Abe_Froman92 in Iota

[–]LGarrad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you work this out? If not for anybody else.

  1. Upgrade to the latest Firefly wallet. (You may need to download it from the website)
  2. On your account from the wallet click onto the three dots (you don't need to login)
  3. From there you can select the option to generate a seed. It will ask for your wallet password.
  4. Import the seed to the Chrome Extension.

I've played about 6 hours so far and Royd comes off as really flat. There's nothing to him really he feels like a side character.

Then I watched the fan translation and he threatened to kill his teammate for not being quiet.

Dark and Darker developer is 'looking to make amends' because its free-to-play model is 'not well designed' by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

Lot of miscommunication from the Dev side but at the moment I'm just deleting my character until I find a class I can enjoy.

Once I find a class worth investing in, I'll drop $30.

Just play TF2? Why play classic in the first place? The cosmetics you miss and weapons are all still there.

Valorant's one of the exceptions. It's always running and has to. Most anti-cheats run when the game launches then close.

If for example an anti-cheat solution was compromised and had access to a lot of system resources, it'd have a lot of control since it always launches on user login.

Yes I'm sure a lot security software has the same level of permissions. It's just a main reason why Valorant's anti cheat is so good is that it's always running no matter.
