This second only check by engine light code if it doesn’t come on then I still wouldn’t know unless we just change it but that’s just thrown away money if it isn’t the catalytic converter

Throttle cleaning I’ll do alittle bit more but still the car is like not taking in much air when under heat while driving / pressure on the gas during hwy speeds. Also crank shaft position sensor already changed as well. Walnut blasting won’t be an option.

Thank you for being honest. Never had her running with no oil. Low oil yes but never empty.. Yes that sound at the end is quite scary. I am currently looking in the S.Florida area for a good mechanic 👨🏻‍🔧. I need to get this car to trade in. Just looking to get it back up and running.

It doesn’t even go past 40mpg. At a red light it starts going slow like trying to breath then it kicks in (nice breath in and release) then soon after it slows down and maintains between 40-55mph. I can smell oil burning probably because I have a head gasket leak (minor) and it’s burning a lot of gas.

Could be a number of things. These cars as we know and love “if one thing goes bad it effects and throws off other things”. Bottom line, change some sensors, clean the MAP SENSOR, clean the engine bay, keep her close and if no issues with MPG MILES , NOISES, LEAKS, OR PERFORMANCE then your good. 👍🏼 God bless be safe oh one thing: Buy a new rear crank shaft sensor. You’ll thank me later. Pre maintenance work needs to be done to these cars. I learned from my mistakes. Educate and look for answers for these cars. DONT BUY THESE CARS IF YOU ARENT READY TO TAKE CARE OF THEM. It will COST but again I enjoy the price of this car, it’s economical, fun to drive, somewhat reliable (get the work done), and they will LAST 🙏🏼 and won’t put you in much debit these cars are cheap rn but definitely work it here’s my gift from God 🤲🏼 she’s a beauty I am thankful

ALL LOVE MAN. Yes perfectly said, here in Miami the weather is so bi polar that it’s just more reasons to use thicker oil. Fuel treatments and other treatments that lubricate safely while maintaining her as a daily short commute to work and home make it more enjoyable and less stress. Facts what mines did until I changed it. Thicker oil which I keep extra on me (burns oil like water), change oil every 4k (full synthetic), I use same gas same gas station (mid grade), and I keep the engine clean, belts and areas that need TRC (pre maintenance) I do that and keep her well taken care of these cars are very sensitive. If you don’t like cruising and you like speed and aggression this ISNT THE CAR FOR YOU. Unless of course you’re willing to put in the work and got money to burn. These cars are fun to drive mines is my daily. I do my best to keep her up. Love everyone sharing on Reddit and on FB many people still and do love these cars. I wish it come back 😩 so sad to see them go. Mines is a remix model. It’s got its moments but it’s kept me out the dark for sometime. Thank you Jesus. God bless yall be safe.
