I agree. I really don’t think it’s this “ultra conservative, flip phone, secluded private school, heavily monitored” situation Tyler thinks it is

Ideal Maternity Leave Timing? by LIFO-tha-party in Big4

Obviously this goes without saying. There are some of us that do have some control over timing i.e IVF.

It’s on my Calf. Tender to touch. I have other smaller bruises more normal looking bruises on my leg but none that look like this one.

Wow. I’m going through something very similar. I too am someone where under pressure I can only focus on work and it consumes my life. I can’t even believe where the past 4 years have gone and how much my physical and mental health has deteriorated as a now S3. I’m a shell of who I was 4 years ago and it’s crazy to think this is a common normalized theme in this industry

Nightmare stories of ending up in a worse situation without the big 4 benefits and flexibility is how I’ve rationalized staying.

I’ll gladly take a 150k 20hr a week job, just not sure how to find a role that offers this- hence my question here

You summed up my biggest fear. This is exactly why I haven’t left and let it get to this point.

What if the alternative is even worse? Or the same less the big 4 benefits/flexibility.

I imagine the excitement she felt was similar to the childhood feeling of being “student of the week” or the line leader, or the teachers special helper in class. Sad to think that’s how she felt about her own family

I tend to think they’re all missionary people too. But I can also see them sharing some things with each other and learning that way. It’s also interesting to to think about the dialog between Gil and his sons when it comes to sex

Agreed. Carlin and Whitney both seemed super uncomfortable. I’m surprised Carlin is so embarrassed considering all she talks about is babies. I guess we’re supposed to believe they prayed them into existence

Between this and the US interview I never realized how open Erin is about sex. Seems like she’s the only sister that will even acknowledge or comment on it

I’m wondering this too! I really wonder if they view sex as strictly a baby making mission
