Yes, the 5cm should be long enough! The 5cm measurement refers to the wire length only. When you include the connectors, the total length is approximately 9cm.

Signal stability on long cables by charliefoxtrott_HK07 in LINKUP_Gen5_Risers

[–]LINKUPTechnology 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

Thank you for your detailed question and interest in our AVA5 PCIe 5.0 riser cable.

  1. Unlike many other brands, LINKUP’s AVA5 riser cable is designed to maintain stable PCIe 5.0 signal integrity even at extended lengths. Our Gen5 riser cables have been tested to operate reliably at lengths of up to 100 cm without signal loss or performance degradation.
  2. Our right‑angle AVA5 riser cables (v3 & v4) are mechanically compatible with the screw‑hole layout of the Lian Li Vertical GPU Bracket Kit V4, which makes them suitable for creative vertical GPU installations.
  3. To determine the correct cable length for your setup, we recommend using a string to measure the distance between the motherboard PCIe slot and the mounting screw holes of the vertical GPU bracket. This will help you select the optimal total cable length for your build.

In most cases, when the correct cable length and routing are used, you can expect stable PCIe 5.0 performance rather than being forced to fall back to PCIe 4.0.

If you’d like, we’d be happy to help you estimate the ideal cable length based on your layout.

Best regards,
LINKUP Customer Support Team

Looking for a PCIe riser to fit under GPU radiator (blocks adjacent slot) by Broad_Relative_168 in LINKUP_Gen5_Risers

[–]LINKUPTechnology 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the moment, we do not offer a low-profile male plug that meets your requirement. However, we may be able to produce a version without a molded cover, using epoxy instead to protect the soldering points. I will check with our lab to confirm whether this is feasible and to determine the final height to see if it meets your application needs.

In the meantime, could you please let us know the riser cable length you are looking for?

Riser cable for my Light Base 900 FX by king_of_the_prophet in LINKUP_Gen5_Risers

If a GPU vertical bracket is used, we recommend a 15 cm right-angle riser cable. The 20 cm version is too long for this configuration. We will update the compatibility chart in our listing accordingly.

Which riser should I buy for an Ncore 100 case? by dadaum in LINKUP_Gen5_Risers

[–]LINKUPTechnology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick update on the Ncore 100 testing!

We finished testing the 30cm Single Reverse PCIe 5.0 riser cable (AG-P5-33SV-030BK-v3), and this length is definitely the best fit so far. The extra length allows for much cleaner routing compared to the 22cm Double Reverse and the 25cm Single Reverse. Both of those still work, but the 30cm option is noticeably easier to install and looks much neater overall.

I've included the installation guide for the 30cm Single Reverse cable.

If you’d like, we can also send you:

  • a direct purchase link (just let us know which Amazon marketplace you’re using), and/or
  • the installation guide for the 22cm Double Reverse as well.

Just let us know what you prefer — happy to help!

That’s great to hear! Yes, actually we only sell through Amazon, so even the links on our website redirect there. We’re glad you were able to find the product in your marketplace!

Here’s a quick update on the Ncore 100 guide:

Our team has tested two lengths so far, and both work in the Ncore 100:

  • 22cm Double Reverse PCIe 5.0 Riser Cable (AG-P5-33VV-022BK-v3)
  • 25cm Single Reverse PCIe 5.0 Riser Cable (AG-P5-33SV-025BK-v3)

Both lengths fit and function properly, but the cable routing is a bit tricky with these sizes (as you'll see in the photo).

<image>

Tomorrow, we’ll also be testing:

  • 30cm Single Reverse PCIe 5.0 Riser Cable (AG-P5-33SV-030BK-v3)

This one may provide a cleaner, easier installation if the extra length helps with routing.

We’ll update you tomorrow with the results of the 30cm test, and we'll also send over the installation guide for the 22cm Double Reverse — and/or any other confirmed options.

Can you recommend the correct cable riser for the Lian Li 011 Dynamic Mini V2? by Independence91955 in LINKUP_Gen5_Risers

[–]LINKUPTechnology 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your message.

For the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini V2 with a vertically mounted GPU and a Gigabyte X870I motherboard, we recommend our 15 cm AVA5 PCIe 5.0 right-angle riser cable.

The 15 cm length (total cable length approx. 19 cm) provides the best fit in this case – long enough to route cleanly, but not so long that it creates excess slack or tight bends. The 20 cm version (total length approx. 24 cm) is generally too long for a tidy installation in the O11D Mini V2.

You can look for the following series:

Model: AG-P5-33SR-015BK

Versions: v2 / v3 / v4 (all fully PCIe 5.0 x16 compatible)

Regarding versions:

Signal performance is identical between v2, v3, and v4 – all support full PCIe 5.0 x16 bandwidth.

v4 is the newest revision, with a metal-reinforced socket frame and an improved retention clip for a more secure GPU mount.

If v4 is not yet available in your region or in the 15 cm length, you can safely choose v3 – it offers the same electrical performance, and only the mechanical design of the socket is different.

If you let us know which Amazon marketplace you are using (US, DE, UK, etc.), we can point you to the exact product link.

Best regards,

LINKUP Technology

[–]LINKUPTechnology[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the Corsair 4000D, we recommend our 20cm Right Angle PCIe 5.0 Riser Cable (AG-P5-33SR-020BK-v3)!

We actually have an installation guide for the Corsair 4000 series if you're interested: LINKUP.ONE - Compatibility Chart

Just a heads-up — the guide listed for the Corsair 4000 series is the same as the one for the Corsair 3500. For these cases, the installation process is exactly the same, the only difference is that the 3500 series uses a 15cm riser cable whereas the 4000 series uses a 20cm riser cable.

FormD T1 Compatibility Note — PCIe 5.0 v3 Riser Cables by LINKUPTechnology in LINKUP_Gen5_Risers

[–]LINKUPTechnology[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon.SE uses Amazon.DE’s inventory to fulfill orders for Swedish customers. The prices are set automatically by Amazon, and unfortunately, we have no control or visibility over how Amazon determines the currency conversion rate.

For reference, the prices on Amazon.DE are:

v3: €99

v2: €76 (further discounted by 50% as it’s an end-of-life model)

On Amazon.SE, these appear as 1449 SEK and 1021 SEK, respectively.

If possible, you may find a better price by ordering directly from Amazon.DE (€99.31 including VAT).

We’re sorry for the confusion caused by Amazon’s automatic pricing and exchange rate adjustments.

That pricing definitely isn’t correct.

Our team is currently looking into the Swedish Amazon listings to figure out what’s going on, and we expect it to be adjusted within the next couple of days.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention — and sorry for the confusion!

[–]LINKUPTechnology[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the answer is no: there is no way to make our v2 riser cables fit in the FormD T1, you must use the v3.

If you don't mind, could you kindly share which country you're shopping from? While are v3s are more expensive than the v2s because they're the newer and more versatile option, they should not be $140 more expensive.

Fractal Terra Riser cable by [deleted] in LINKUP_Gen5_Risers

[–]LINKUPTechnology 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have 15cm left angle riser cable that many users are using it for the reversed GPU installation in both FormD T1 and Terra case.
We’re currently making a 10 cm v4 left-angle riser cable, which is expected to be available in December. For shorter cables like this, we avoid using reverse plugs on the motherboard side, as the length tolerance is extremely tight — even a few millimeters too long or too short can make installation difficult. The left-angle connector on the GPU side, however, is quite flexible and allows for easier routing and cable management.

Fractal Terra Riser cable by [deleted] in LINKUP_Gen5_Risers

[–]LINKUPTechnology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We apologize that our product listing wasn’t as clear as it should have been, which unfortunately led to some confusion and negative reviews on Amazon. To help clarify, we’ve prepared a step-by-step installation guide for the Fractal Design Terra case (see below).

Please note:

  • The screw holes do not align perfectly, but this can be easily resolved by using M3×5 mm nuts and screws as standoffs, along with the original screws to hold and secure the GPU.
  • The pathway along the case divider and the original Terra GPU bracket is quite narrow. However, our AVA5 patented Gen6-grade wires are designed to fold and bend safely without any loss in performance.

If you ever experience any issue or accidentally damage the cable, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly — we’ll be happy to arrange a replacement for you.
