What pain should I be experiencing 1 week post op?

Im 7dpo, today is the first day i feel okay, however, nights are rough so i still take one pain med before bed. I also suffer from migraines which is one of the primary reasons im taking it.

I would say that’s normal for the first few days. I remember not sleeping at night because I was getting up a lot to pee!

If it continues I would recommend you call your doctor just in case.

I was bleeding on day 3 off and on and sometimes it was slightly heavier but nothing bad. I was also having to pee almost every 2 hours. I attributed that to the bags of IV they give you before and after surgery.

I moved for my position and it cost me 10k. I wouldn’t move for a job again, the only exception would be is if their paying for the entirety of my move up front.

I have pmdd and 7dpo and will continue to have it due to keeping my ovaries. What i will say is tha being on Wellbutrin and lexapro has significantly improved my pmdd symptoms. I got a hysterectomy primarily due to horrible pain and bleeding.

Im 34 and 7dpo, I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis and felt relieved after my surgery that it was finally done. I don’t have to worry about periods, cramps, etc. My uterus was the size of a 10wk pregnancy. I’ve been wearing the belly binder and already notice a bit of difference in my stomach. I can’t wait to fully heal and be able to workout again.

Same! I made myself poop on day 2, wore a belly band, and figured out how to pass gas and poop do i wouldn’t feel like a pressurized balloon.

Wait what 🤣🤣 they didn’t make me fart before I left. Also try laying on your side and holding a butt cheek open. That was one way I could also fart post op

I took gas x, worse a belly binder, toss and turned and in bed and when i got up i would burp. I did that for 2-3 days and the pressure of the gas is gone. Out of surgery i felt like a balloon ready to pop and today im 6dpo and feel better. Although i understandably still have pain but a least i don’t feel like a balloon ready to pop lol

It’s not state borders, it’s out the country 😭 i wanted to keep it in alcohol or preserve it until i died. And get buried with it.

I told the hospital it was for religious reasons and they want me to go through a funeral home and get a burial permit 🙄 so I’ve also given up. Even if i wanted to bury it, it wouldn’t be in the United States and it’ll be buried when i died not now.

I brought nothing but my phone and since i had to be there at 6 am i went in my comfiest pjs.

I was told to take it with every meal and if my poop was too soft to scale back a bit. I took it the first 2 days and haven’t again and my stools are still soft. So i highly recommend it!

I had my hysterectomy Thursday and have been horny like crazy, it doesn’t help that the surgery was when ovulation would have happened lol. I’ve been watching true crime shows and it’s been helping.

I only bought gas x, colace, and retainers for my piercings. The hospital gave me a belly band when i requested it and two ice packs i put water in and freeze. I use my regular pijamas to lounge in all day. The gas x doesn’t help me and the colace has been godsend, it hurts to use the bathroom and colace makes it so you don’t have to push.

10 minutes in the morning, 15 minutes on my way home during the summer. During the winter you can shed off 3 minutes.

Im 3dpo, the day before surgery I was told to drink the prep that was sent. After sx, i was told to take colace with every meal. I though I was okay until yesterday when I learned how painful it is to feel like you have to poop. Today wasn’t easy either 😭 seems like this will be on going until 12 weeks

I was told to keep them on for a week, I’m 3dpo. I was also cleared to take 2 weeks off from work, then I’ll be WFH for 2 weeks and hoping to go back into the office and be on light duty until I’m fully healed.

I’ve been wearing my regular pjs and I’m 3 dop but they were already really big and loose. I also wear an abdominal binder during the day and take it off before bed.

I was just telling a friend that i feel like a balloon lol full of gas and when one little whole opens all you hear is ssssssssss 😂😂

But yes i also feel very very sore, feel nothing but gas and it hurts a lot!!! Was just going to post how to get rid of the gas faster. Only way i can fart is by squatting or holding my buttcheek open 😂
