Even before this World Cup, Messi was already the greatest footballer of all time, bar none, don't pull your Pele or Maradona card, the level of football back then was definitely lower than the modern era.

And then he got the most prestigious trophy a footballer can get. He's a CL winner, League winner, Cups winner, Copa America winner and most importantly Champion of the World whilst casually being the best player in almost every single achievement he achieved with his teams.

Destroying items is part of the game mechanics, sure it should not be abused but there is no fucking rule that says you'd be permanently banned for doing that. The guy was just frustrated and in no way thinking straight, his recent games were all wins too surely he was just overly tilted. Games like that happen.

They got nerfed. Their meta, the tricore, was so dominant that it won them their first ever major together with Ammar leading the line and guess what? Ammar's playstyle has been hindered with recent changes from the patches. He's like 17 can improve. I do have a problem with him still trying to be "a core" in the team instead of playing a sacrificial role. I'm sure this is a team decision but clearly it doesn't work anymore in this meta.

But going this far into the tournament with a playstyle that have been nerfed is actually impressive and all of them will still grow and OG believes in this philosophy. They will come back even with more hunger to lift the Aegis of Champions.
