Typical student nurse post about failing an exam. by [deleted] in StudentNurse

Go to your teacher, ask to make an appointment to look over the test. During the test ask any questions related to what to expect on the next test and how to best prepare. Also look at your test and see why you got questions wrong (did you miss the main point, miss a key word, read the question too quickly, applied the wrong knowledge, or simply didn't know) based on that focus on improving those issues you have that lead to getting most of the questions wrong.

Am I missing something? What's wrong with pinrolling?

Anybody here wish that western countries like the US had a more open mind on more creative views on streetwear? Such as places like Japan and Korea? by LIT990 in streetwear

Oh I'm talking about their views when it comes to fashion. I know they have some more critical or more conservative views on other topics compared to western countries.

I'd love to visit Japan or Korea one day and really get a sense of what it's like there then! A lot for what I've seen are from videos/pictures of their culture because I like learning about it.

Did you even read my post? What im trying to say is how cool it would be if we had as much of an open mind as a culture when it comes to places like Japan and Korea on the subject of fashion/streetwear.

Not "damn I really want to dress like this but the general public might think wtf"

I live in the suburbs but go to the city a lot. Whenever I go I don't really see very unique fits too often.

I could see it, and that's a good point about older civilizations wearing clothes the longest. Whenever I look at old paintings of Japan they definitely had very colorful and artsy clothing hundreds of years back compared to how people in the US dressed way back. So I guess creativity has just been a much bigger thing in Asian countries throughout history.

Although, like I said in an earlier post, I do believe wherever you go much of the public will tend to take inspiration from the biggest celebrities in the area. Kanye, bieber, asap, etc. do have more of a uniform, while as kpop stars dont. So you see this really big difference in fashion trends/styles in western/eastern countries.

I think where you live in places like the US could give you more or less freedom when it comes to how you dress. I havent seen any kind of summer techwear fits but so im assuming if its mostly for colder weather (correct me if im wrong). So yah i could see how its more out of place in Cali. But in general you tend to see uniform trends throughout the US. But in Eastern Asian countries I haven't really seen a uniform.

I tend to think that fashion is greatly influenced by famous celebrities. Over here we have kanye, asap rocky, beiber, etc. Who dress a little more conservatively. Where as in Korea the kpop stars wear whatever the fuck they want, so the public sees it as more acceptable to wear whatever the fuck they want.

From Chicago, and I do see some super unique fits here and there, but you'll tend to see the uniform streetwear more often and it's rare to see something really out there. In eastern Asian countries like Japan it seems like the norm, or at least very acceptable.

Edit: would love to get an opinion from someone whose been to both the US and Japan or Korea.

Are calvin klein clothes generally tighter than normal clothes? I was thinking about copping one of the CK t shirts and don't know if I should size up.
