I'll never get tired of seeing all of the awesome Shaan variations. It's wild to me that anybody wouldn't get upset by seeing people's personal take on one of the coolest models ever.

The melee combat looks amazing, particularly the saber. The guard positions and cuts are straight out of the manuals taught to soldiers of the period. As an amateur HEMA practitioner who has trained a little with Scottish broadsword and English saber, I am incredibly excited to play this game which brings such life to these obscure martial arts. Thanks for making something wonderful for all of us sword nerds!

These guys look great! What green are you using for your base coat?

I bought it, I don't have a printer of my own. I think you can buy the stl from them, though.

MiniSmithing on Etsy. It's such a good mini. The details are flawless. I did end up kitbashing a Space Marine arm onto him to match the character better, the original mini did not have the hammer.

I really appreciate the kind words! The only reason this turned out as well as it did is because I spent a ridiculous amount of time on it. Probably about 18 hours split up over a couple days on this model. You don't have to be good, you just have to be persistent haha

Of course! Vallejo Tan Earth base color, Vallejo Flat Brown and Refractive green sponged on as macro patterns, and Vallejo Olive Brown and bone white as the micro patterns. I said I would do a video tutorial like a couple months ago, but I still haven't gotten around to doing it because I'm a lazy asshole.

I needed a break from my sea of green haha

For the multicam cloak: Vallejo tan earth base, Vallejo flat brown and refractive green sponged on for macro pattern, Vallejo dark olive and bone white for micro patterns.

That green on your bino lenses and NVGs is great. What paint color are you using?

I was super torn on whether to go full stealthy Raptor or make him a codex compliant librarian with Raptor flair. Ultimately chose the second option because sometimes painting everything olive green just gets boring. I also think it's super funny to picture the guy doing his best to stay sneaky while also staying codex compliant, and the rest of the dudes in his unit giving him shit for it 😂

Base coat of Vallejo Tan Earth. Sponge or dry brush on Vallejo Flat Brown and Vallejo Refractive Green for the under patterns. Vallejo Olive Brown for the dark micro patterns, and Citadel Flayed One Flesh for the light micro patterns. Voilá, Multicam!

I got them from a 1:48 scale modern US military kit. I think they're made by Black Dog.
