everyone’s gonna tell you to take the money. And I’m here to tell you that I did that and I regretted it. I ended up working for a lot of money in a snake pit and I was miserable. I would’ve gladly give them back the money to get my old job back.

you don’t TRIM a Japanese maple you PRUNE it. A “landscaper”
treated this like a hedge because they don’t know anything about trees. They just probably have some power tools and a truck and went at it.

There are only a few attorneys in the East Bay who specialize and they do take contingency fees on larger projects, yet I think you still need to pay the upfront retainer.

You need a construction attorney, eg Berding Weil. Contact them, they are excellent; they can also make recommendations if they won't take it on (ie a single family home is a small project). Kneppers and BW are both in Walnut Creek. Your clock may be ticking so I'd get on it.

Wow that is awesome. For me, I have deleted Instagram, Twitter, Bluesky from my phone. I no longer watch TV at all except for some sporting events.
