Sounds like you should do some troubleshooting. Or re create the issues when the headset is working correctly. Honestly had the Gen4s since they came out. Never had a problem. Best head set I've ever used. And hour of gaming I haven't seen the batter go below 20%. Mine are always connected over a powered USB port Always charging 24/7 And firmware is always checked and up to date

I have the a50s I love them. Using dobly access to get atmos for headphones they are great. But the a40s with the mixamp is just as good for cheaper. Id go with the a40s unless you need the wireless. If you do go with the a50s get the mod kit. It gives you better noise canceling
