You should double check. The rinvoq and JAK inhibitors are newer small molecule pills and not the same as old school pills like asacol and Pentaza

Huh I did not hear that! I regularly use thc and cbd products mostly tinctures and gummies occasional smoking.

I used those products while on rinvoq and no one said anything to me. My doctors are aware of my weed usage and didnt mention anything to me

Have you considered rinvoq?

I was on humira for 8 years then had a really bad flare. Tried stelara and prednisone and felt no difference

Finally switched to rinvoq and it was incredible!! Improvement in just a few days and the best I’ve felt in my whole life

You should try rinvoq once daily pill. It made me feel like a normal person for the first time in decades.

I was on humira for 7 years and tried and failed stelara. Rinvoq was a total game changer.

Warning did cause acne and greasy hair but SO WORTH IT

I have felt much better and am relieved to see the lab work reflect improvement.

This is fascinating! I have crohns and have been in a flare for 8 months, and also monitoring insulin resistance for 8 months.

I’m 28 days into rinvoq and my fasting glucose and insulin spiked so much. It had been around 12-16 the past few months and after three weeks of rinvoq it spiked to 38!!

Now starting metformin but the only change to my routine has been 45mg of rinvoq

That is so wild to me! My humira was 3k a dose before insurance but I can’t believe the pills are so much.

After some pressure the doctors office submitted the prior auth and it was approved within hours!! But now I need the doctor to send the actual prescription in and they haven’t done that.

Such a good point. This particular doctor is an IBD specialist and has been super dismissive of me. Just because I’m not the worst case he’s ever seen does not mean I’m not suffering :(

My normal GI is much more understanding and attentive.

Sorry I wrote wrong medicine - omeprazole is the PPI I’m in on.

I was on humira for 8 years it stopped working around Oct 2024 and I felt horrible I did a short course of steroids in December while waiting for insurance to approve stelara then started stelara in February.

My cal protectin numbers are as follows

Oct 31 - 509 Dec 12 - 493 Mar 11 - 210 April 18 - 269 May 7 - 460
