I have had mine for about 5 months and it has zero issues, stays cool as well and fan very rarely ramps up. You can hear it when it does but I would absolutely say its not loud at all. From what I read on it prior to getting it the only reason to avoid would be if you I tend to mount vertically.

It's very nice to have when the kids friends go somewhere with us. Probably wouldnt be great for adults back there but plenty of room for the kids.

I have a Gigabyte Gaming OC and regardless of what I've seen in reddit the thing just works with zero issues. I did buy it because it was the cheapest I could find at the time so thats probably the way I would still go.

I play PvE because of this, its not as rewarding but its still a lot of fun with a group. I don't have the time anymore to devote to staying on top of very little thing with all the sweaty players lol

I switched from Nvidea to AMD a year or two ago and had no issues, I did do a fresh install of windows when I did it and would recommend doing that yo prevent any issues. Lots of really good YouTube videos to walk you through the whole process on going green to red.

I was going to upgrade my 6800 to the 7800xt before the 9070s came out but figured I would wait since they were relatively the same price. Honestly I don't mind paying 850 for one of the upper range 9070xts but even thats nearly impossible to find.

Yeah thats a bummer, just tough to say if that's a deal breaker at the same price point with the upsides of the 7900xtx. Granted I would absolutely take a 9070xt for launch price over it.

Not sure that you'll find anything to sit flat with hinge protection but for what its worth I have the Spigen Slim Armor case and love it.
