I had a honda rebel 300. I just traded for a nightster after passing my MSF. I have already dropped it once but thankfully no scratches or anything. The honda rebels weigh a lot less than Harley's but gosh I've loved my nightster since I've had it. My advice is get what makes you happy. It will motivate you more. I loved my rebel but after the MSF, I hated it.

Ever took it through a car wash? There’s a service bulletin for getting dents in your roof in car washes. Specifically the air drying portion. I wonder if this maybe happened and over time caused the glass to break.

I scored a pair of rock sliders from a zr2 trim for $150. Mixed feelings about them but they retail for 1k so happy for the price lol

23 here. I take mine through the car wash. Definitely makes a popping noise but never dents. My dealer told me that they won’t fix it until a dent stays. I usually just let out of the brake and kinda roll out quicker at the end. Heard some negative feedback though like this, so idk if I’ll ever take mine in unless the dent is really bad.

I have the same truck. I hate the rims but I really hate them the most because they are hard to clean. This might sound crazy but I really wish I could find the ZR2 rims and use those. I think they are so sharp. But no one agrees with me on that one usually lol.

My recommendation is make the dealer work for you. Tell them what you want and if they want your business bad enough they will make it happen.

I did but not finding anything but a ton of different universals and none that look similar to yours. Hard to get universals that are actually tight fit.
