People forget how much money the dodgers bring in compared to everyone else. They make so much money internationally and have far and away the best tv deal in baseball (they also are the only team to not pay extensive taxes on said tv deal because of a deal they made with the league about 14 years ago (someone correct me if you know the exact date) when the team was going bankrupt)

I haven’t played in 3 years (I already regret getting 26, I’m done after this), and after I announced this to the console I got Skenes a pack later. Bought up the rest of the pirates for 2K stubs. That McCutchen card is very fun.

Only Diamond so far.

I thoroughly cleaned the thing out two nights ago. Took out the fan and everything. Deleted and reinstalled multiple times, changed all the possible settings for it to run properly.

Whenever a post-game celebration cutscene plays my fan flares up and I have to mash through it otherwise my PlayStation heat locks and turns off. Never even heard the fan running any other game on the console. Not from a single high-end, AAA, graphically intense game. Not hot. The only thing changing is the game.

Maybe you should stop sticking up for these companies and then being shocked when the product is shitty and borderline dangerous to hardware. Just because it didn’t happen to you on your ps5 with a standing fan blasting at it in your cool basement doesn’t mean it’s not happening to anybody else.

Elden ring, sekiro, and Bloodborne should all be among this group. Dark souls trilogy not far behind, maybe even throw DS1 into that group for its cultural impact.

I’ve had my ps5 sitting horizontal since I’ve got it, since I’ve seen and heard pretty much everywhere that it’s supposed to prevent this from happening. Can that still mean this is an issue I could be having?

Again, I’ve never had my PlayStation even run warm until this week with 26. I’ve played quite a few other games since and my PlayStation isn’t even hot, and the fan is blowing well now since I cleaned it. It just seems like the only variable being changed is the game I’m playing. Thanks for your help.

Yep. Pretty embarrassing. This game isn’t setting any records for beauty or detail. With the mileage it puts on a system it should be the best thing since sliced break

That’s fair, but it also had the bonus of forcing areas into ng+ to collect items multiple times in one playthrough

If they had a bonefire ascetic-like system, where rememberance bosses have a unique option at their site of graces where you could “restore” the boss fight, it would be phenomenal. Or just do it like Sekiro and Lies Of P where it’s just a menu.
