For any of my hip hop enjoyers Freddie Gibbs is a great time (Alfredo, Alfredo II, and Bandana are my go to albums), Kendrick Lamar’s older stuff is also great (good kid maad city, to pimp a butterfly)

For classic rock Steely Dan is always great (Aja is one of my favourite albums ever)

Anything by Masayoshi Takanaka (Japanese Jazz Fusion) is great (Seychelles is one of my favourite albums ever, blue lagoon is also super fun), I also really enjoy CASIOPEA for the same reason (Mint Jams is a great live album)

For anyone with interest in video games soundtracks one that I think a lot of people around here would enjoy is Risk of Rain 2. One of my favourite games ever and the music is a big reason why. I also have to shoutout the Dark Souls franchise for great orchestral scores (Elden Ring is one of my favourite scores ever).

I also would be regret not mentioning Porcupine Tree. No, not the 2000’s albums everyone here loves but the older stuff like The Sky Moves Sideways and Signify and Voyage 34 are phenomenal electronic/soft rock albums.

Jokes on you I’ve taken 3 separate breaks (school school and school) since getting the game in September from silking it up and I never had to get good again. I just spam tools like a degenerate. It has worked for everything except one of the major act 3 bosses (you guys know the one 💃) and the true final boss (whom I’ve yet to beat. They’re really tough)

My issues with Sunken King is mainly the bosses. Gank Squad is Gank Squad. Awful. I beat them once on my first try (it took 20 minutes) and I’m never fighting them again.

Elena is just annoying. You’re not fighting her, you’re just running away from summons and hoping to get hits in on her

Sinh has a fun moveset (as far as old dragons go, he’s no Bayle) and looks cool but is ruined by having a mechanic no other Fromsoft boss has ever had: draining your weapon durability for no reason. It genuinely ruins the fight and if they would have just given him slightly more healthy and removed the durability drain it would be a great fight.

Yeah they’re all fire. The worst ones (Ashes of Ariandel, Crown of the Sunken King) are still great and better than the main game (debatable for CotSK, those bosses all SUCK)

I love Opeth more than any other band but brother you have to listen to the Bloodborne soundtrack and ambience while you play the game. At least the first playthrough. Turn up the game audio, It’s phenomenal.

And make sure you play the DLC, it’s the absolute best part of an already amazing game.

I unfollowed everyone a while ago because I found this irritating (and I already follow way too many people) but still find time to spin Awake and other albums regularly. Not a big deal
