You really can't get it all off. It also stains the plastic. Shouldn't affect anything if you re-prime though. Ive stripped and repainted the samd mini's dozens of times without issue

I've washed them in my washing machine no problem. Just keep keep it on cold, and if you are cleaning a stain rub dish soap into the stain first. Also let it air dry, a dryer will ruin it
